Just because Mexicans drink hibiscus and call it Jamaica doesn't make it a Mexican drink. My father is from the islands and we have been drinking hot hibiscus tea and cold hibiscus for generations they also drink it in the deep south also I hope you weren't mocking black women when you said "oh my goodness "
@Viewsontheroad5 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but where in the title does it say Mexican drink? In addition, Mexico has Carribean islands and our own version of Jamaica. Just because you have your racist eyes on doesn't mean I mean anything ill towards black women. I consider ALL Black women to be my sisters. "Oh my goodness" comes from my youngest son making that sentence vibrate. This is the last response you get because you sound like you need time offline. Take care!

Why do have to make it about race? That's starting to get real annoying..just enjoy the recipe girl!
@faye78425 жыл бұрын
Also the way you pronounce Jamaica in the Caribbean is different then how hispanics pronounce it if you break it down Hispanics say it like “hi-my-ca”. Also, what culture doesn’t exaggerate the saying “oh my goodness”. Geez, chill out. Steph got your back.

She says 'Oh My Goodness' in practically every video at 1 point or another. You really need to take your racist blinders off and see the world in full color. I've seen Asians and Polys drink and eat Hibiscus drinks, flavored rices, and other foods or drinks. My husband used to go to the Islands all the time when he was in the navy, the various ships he was on went there. And he loved the food there. One of his best friends, almost 30 yrs is Jamaican.

I just made this today for my husband on Father’s Day and he absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for this. I used 5 cups boiling water 1&1/2 cups of hibiscus steeped 15 min, strained, added 1 cup sugar let it cool, added 2 cups filtered water served over ice with a squeeze of fresh lime. HEAVEN!
