Nice trick. I was wondering about doing a variety of soaps for my family for Christmas. Since you showed you can do so in a single mold without requiring several batches of melted and mixed recipes being poured, then this can definitely give more variety.

Not really. Some DIY soap kits just straight up come with like 1kg of glycerin soap for you to cut, melt, decorate and re-mold. From what I can see In the video I think it's that kind of soap making kit.

@@duskydreams I didn’t see anywhere where you used cinnamon. Lol But even if you did it’s not a big deal. In glycerin soap you don’t want to use a lot, and you can safely add it in ur Cold process soap also. For a long time ppl freaked out about cinnamon and other “hot” additives but it’s recently been proven a non issue. Love your video. Happy soaping! ❤

That was plain soap base. The main ingredients needed are all mentioned in the video but basically you will need a soap base, a silicon mould, some oils.

All you need is a lye water solution and animal fat or oil, I use this as a recipe: 20 fl oz coconut oil, 12 FL oz water that you add 4.2 oz of lye pearls into but do this outside as lye fumes are toxic, remember add lye into the water not water into lye, let lye water cool down to room temp, then add into room temp oil and blend with a stick blender until cake batter consistency then pour into molds and wait 2 days to unmold, let cure for 2 weeks max before using, this recipe gives you about 12, 2 oz bars

Hi! It's also known as 'Soap Base'. You can order it online, search for 'clear soap Base'. Plain soap is basically soap which does not have any added aroma, colour, etc.

If you have a walmart hobby lobby joanns or michaels near you you can buy this glycerin soap in clear or white they also sell all the scents colors mica pigments as well. Molds are sold all over amazon ebay and in stores. No special skills are needed however do not use the soap melting pot for any thing else. Same with any thing used to stir with measuring cups none of it can ever be used for food ever again or you will give your self lots of diarrhea.

It doesn't need to be kept in the fridge, you can keep it outside only but keep it out of reach, don't touch it for like 24-48 hours. It will take that much time to set. The time is dependent on the temperature of the city you live in but it's safe to leave it for like a day at least.

You dont need to do any of that. MP base is already saponified so any extra oils or butters just kind of sit on top. And it already contains glycerin, so no need to add extra. Soap is also a wash off product so its not meant to be a moisturizer. Thats what lotions and body butters are for.
