I agree. If you don't use it frequently, it can be difficult to get it set up to show that you want it to. I use it on an as needed basis. For something like this scenario, it's great for narrowing down what system the problem is in. It's also very helpful for communication errors. The snap on I have has great guided component tests, but I find adjusting the voltage and timebase scales is kind of clunky and not very user friendly compared to pico or this autel we were using.
