Hi! Thank you much! You'll be happy yo know that I've updated my item ironing equipment in October or late September or so and now I use a wool pad so, no more annoying sounds, sorry about that!

If I don’t use my scraps I give them to a group that does charity sewing. The smallest cutoffs and tiny bits that I get from straightening or squaring blocks go in a bag that I use for pillow inserts and make pet beds and donate. Nothing goes in the bin!

That's a very good idea, love it. I use scraps to fill pet beds too, but not as often as I should.

I take very very tiny bits of scrap fabric, ribbon, and batting, along with thread cut offs, and put small bunches on bushes,and in trees. Birds and small animals use them to make nests. It's so sweet to see them being useful.
