Hi everyone, thank you so much for watching. This year, we will have a special video to show how to prepare a traditional Chinese new year's eve dinner, also known as "the feast of reunion (团圆饭)". I will make 9 dishes, rice, a drink and a couple of snacks. This sesame cracker is one of the snacks. Make sure you look for my new year video, it will be published on 31st Jan. Wish you a wonderful new year. Mandy

Thank you for your wonderful how-to videos. For those of us who don’t have ready access to favorite goodies, learning how to make at home has been an uplifting experience, especially during the pandemic isolation when many restaurants closed. 😊❤

My grandma makes a dessert version of these. Forget the condiments, add more sugar and cinnamon, or some anise to improve flavor. After frying them she pours syrup on top. It's a really sweet sugary snack and I love them.

Thank you for giving information concerning the adding of oil to the flour, the texture needed before adding the water (and the reasoning behind why this is a necessary step) and then letting the viewer hear the loud crackling sound. This was very helpful to me! Gale Flowers 🌸

Hi, just want to let you know that we are supposed to a have video to show how I prepare a traditional dinner for the lunar new year. For the reasons below, we decided to delay one day. We will publish it on Jan 1st at 10 am. This is a 1-hour long video (be sure to make a cup of coffee or tea before you start watching LOL!) We have never done anything in this length so it took a bit longer time than we estimated to edit. We are currently working on the final touch of editing and we want the video to come out perfect. Please understand. I am very proud of this video. We filmed an entire process of the food making, the culture behind it, and the traditions. I am very excited to publish it and I hope you can enjoy it. In this special holiday, I wish all of you 阖家欢乐,生活美满:Wish you a happy family and a happy life! 年年有余,财源广进:Wish you abundant profit every year! 身体健康,万事如意!Wish you good health and achieve anything your heart desires!

Happy New Year 🎉 You may like milk kefir, make at home helps hands, skin stay soft, nails strong sign of good vitamin e absorption. Etsy has cultures, do not use metal spoons or lids as result tastes like metal. I also like that last fall did new addition of making apple cider vinegar in 12 ounce mason jars with air lock and weights, Amazon US. Small amount ( as back up) if batch is bad to a jar. Takes about three months. Gives same result as kefir, maybe a little less if want to adjust. Will change out body...interior bacteria, (so upset stomach could happen. Maybe like a cleanse) Feel it helps collagen, nerve tissue temporarily. May ease arthritis if keep as routine for salad dressing or sipping before meal. Not as acidic as regular store bought vinegar... I just use for probiotic, not expecting it to do a lemon like result. Best wishes on healthier and happier 2022.

I know that it's a traditional recipe, and I know that it comes to be famous because there are not many oven in Asia, but frankly it's possible to get this kind of results with an oven, and it's more healthy than frying them in oil.
@SoupedUpRecipes3 жыл бұрын
to be honest, it won't come out as good in the oven. The browning will not be even, and the texture maybe dry. If you spray enough oil on the surface, you may make it good in the air fryer
@marchervais12693 жыл бұрын
@@SoupedUpRecipes yes you have to adapt you recipe like the Italian who invented the gresin covered with sesame seeds. Baked in the oven. Very addictive too and much lighter

I should use more convenience items when I cook. I have a problem with one of my legs that makes standing hard, and it throws off my balance when I need to mix thick batter in a bowl. I appreciate even cooking shows that present traditional recipes acknowledging sometimes machines can help us with our health. 😁
