some antique dealers like love joy likeable rogues make fake bronze castings and pass them of for the real thing by making a cold cast bronze you put the original on scales with your copy hollow shell bronze and add nuts and bolts until they balance correct and fill the hollow shell with resin and paint the base with more resin and bronze mix and then sell it as the real deal. shocking but true.not that i'm giving any body ideas. co's i know i can trust people that read this info. so if there are any crooks reading this please please don't try this at home. you might like to make moulds of castings you have bought moulds of purely for casting purposes only though as you like to speed up your turnover.
