He also delivers and moves them . There is a whole lot of different repo types. My father used to move and repo mobile homes . He mostly moved them but we did about 6 repos . Best money we ever made was setting up modular homes . We would push / pull the 2 halves of the house over basements on steel rails . Dad quit doing that line of work due to the danger . He did that line of work for 15 years .

I'm from the UK and I've never heard of anyone buying a shed on finance let alone having it towed away for non payment! Most streets in the UK you wouldn't get the truck and trailer down and no way would you get access to a rear garden where any shed would be. Murica, such a different world :)

I used to do a 400 mile round trip from New Mexico to Texas and back to pick up sheds for our sales lot and then I would deliver and set them up in some of the craziest places. A lot of the big 12X sheds people made into homes. Been on a few repos myself.

I helped move the Cape Hatteras lighthouse in 99 and was amazed at how small the power pack was that provided hydraulic power to both lift it and push it down the track. Think portable 3500 watt generator but with a hydraulic pump.

Not to many years back there was a real good market for houses small enough to winch onto a trailer . Guys would get them delivered to wherever they had a job , jobs over then hire a truck , winch them on and head for next jobsite

The building leasee has 30 days to collect their items or pay up and have the building redelivered or the items inside are free game for us drivers. These guys on average spend $2500 to $6500 for those sheds . I can build they're $6500 shed for $1000 . $1500 with windows . If men didnt forget the basic skills that they used to have for generations people wouldn't be dumb enough to spend $6500 on a shed that most anyone could easily build in 1-3 days in they're backyard for less than half the cost of buying 1 . Not to mention the fact they always use the cheapest plywood available .

Completely agree, the shit you can put on time payment financing anymore is astounding. I went to look at a pellet grill the other day and I think the woman could tell I had a bit of sticker shock at the price they're charging I would expect the damn thing to go shopping cook it and plate it for me, she said oh you can put it on payments. I would be embarrassed to tell people my grill or shed for that matter was on payments. A while back I actually needed a shed and this outfit Cumberland builds an okay shed and you can buy it for about three grand but if you put it on time payments that same $3,500 shed turns out to be like $7,500. I decided not to be completely lazy and useless priced the materials got some plans and worked on it after work and on the weekends. I have to admit it's a really cool feeling when you get to make your own decisions and selections for your shed and it's even cooler when you start to see the fruits of your labor. I went with 2x6 rafters, added windows, used class 4 shingles, added a loft, even ran power all things that you're not going to get with a pre-built basic shed. In the end I ended up with a very very high quality product that will last for many years and has been through many wind hail and snow storms without any problems. I'm real proud of that shed and all for just under 2k including some new tools that I went to buy since I now had an excuse, so I got a nice shed and some new quality tools out of the deal and I'm not buried under payments for the next three to five years.

I'm 2014 I built a 12'/20' shed 12' tall with a barn loft 2 18"/18" windows shingle roof and vinyl siding 50 amp service And a 8'/12' deck attached Every thing was built on 12" Center Had shelves on both sides and one end 5'/7' swinging doors Everything was screwed together Bought all my materials from Lowe's It took me one week in the evenings and one weekend to complete Taking my time sipping on a beer, cost me less than $3,000 , everyone in my surrounding area Wanted $6,000 and up for a 10x16 and we're built on two foot center Cheap built.
