Hi Melia, if you mean do you need to put that frosting inside... no you don't... it really depends on the person. -- I can eat this cake without any frosting at all, many times I do that. This frosting is sweet enough you don't need it in the middle, and the cake isn't that high so you won't miss it. Hi Beenish 🙂, I believe you are talking about the method commonly used in bakeries where they will soak cakes with a simple syrup ( sugar and water that is boiled down until it is a bit think ) they apply it with a brush to the cake. - I did not use this technique, there is no need. IF you do not overbake your cake, it will be super moist. That trick by the way, - I'd say 99% of people do not know bakeries use this, and wonder how the bakery got the cake so moist... when in fact it is all a simple trick haha ! Thanks for yr reply...... I use chocolate syrup mixed with warm water n lil sugar to soak my chocolate cake n the result is super moist n chocolaty cake which stays moist in the refrigerator for days.
