Looks amazing! That’s the next one I’ll be doing. One question, is shallow frying (the chicken) different to deep frying? Because I have a deep fat fryer which is what I usually use when following your recipes, but for this one should it be shallow fried? Or could I just use the deep fryer? - thanks!

You can do shallow fry or deep fried. If you like crispy texture, it's better to deep fried. Thank you so much for trying my recipe Owen.

The Sichuan peppercorns, I’ve ordered some off Amazon, and a few reviews said they contain black seeds, and they have suggested removing them (although it will take a while) because they give a sand/glass texture. Would you agree that I should remove them?

@@owenedgson7302 You do not need to remove the seeds. Please grind them and use them. Stick with the recipe measurement for Sichuan peppercorns. It's so easy to over power the taste. Thank you Owen.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Sichuan peppercorns can be a bit overwhelming for first timer. It’s love or hate. But we love to add a good amount of it in Szechuan recipes.
