Easy two-sided overlay mosaic crochet pattern ZIGZAG. Designer

This easy TWO-SIDED MOSAIC ZIGZAG pattern has been created using a two-sided overlay mosaic crochet technique which creates the pattern from both sides. I came up with this idea back in 2022 and this is my second pattern using this technique.
Using this pattern, you can create as large a project as you want by working as many pattern repeats as you want in width and/or in height. It’s ideal for the crochet projects where you want both sides to be perfect! The design on both sides is identical.

Another fabulous video from a pro! I notice a few people asked about using this technique on any mosaic pattern for double sided effect. How do you know which patterns it will work on? Is there a formula to tell?

​@@BebaBlanketI finished the video. I meant a completely different design than the zigzag on the back side. You discuss the two open loops and that is where you know to place the stitches/DC on the back side but could you work a different design? It may mean not working those two open loop which may leave a difference design on the back looking off........ I would presume you could turn your work and carry the yarn since you crochet into the open stitches. If you did not crochet into those open stitches, it would not work to carry the other color yarn as they would be exposed......

Happy that you like! If we compare exactly the same design working from one side only, then two-sided uses a bit more yarn, and it is a bit more heavy. But only if we compare the same design worked in different techniques. ❤️❤️❤️
