This car needs to be at SEMA you deserve recognition for such badass meticulous work
@theangrymarmot83364 ай бұрын
Sema is a sh*t-show circus and not a valid indicator of quality. I have been to Sema multiple times and so much of the stuff is a joke. Most of Sema is just hastily / half thrown together cars serving as an advertisement for the companies that threw a little product / cash the builder's way to get booth candy. Same thing as how people think Barrett Jackson is some sort of standard for collector car auctions - when in reality it is a meth-infested trailer park of the collector car world. Yes, there are nice cars at both - but the majority isn't anything I would want to be involved with. If I built/owned this car I would take it to shows like JCCS or similar. It would be way more appreciated there than stuff in some booth at Sema that everyone will forget about 4 minutes later.

Suggestion: for your fuse blocks... have someone 3D print a part like your CAD (cardboard aid design)... you can put a rubber gasket behind the bolt-block ends. An option.... awesome build!! Your normal high quality work... My prayers for your loved one.... been there too many times... But, the only way to feel love is to feel an equal amount of pain...only way to avoid the pain is to avoid the love!

Foam rubber to keep the crudd out on that bracket. The yellow tabs can work with thick foam. And it's not as if you will be accessing the fuse every day.

Doing all that prep work with well cared nails just gave You +1 admiration point from Sweden! You now have countless points, alltogether. Also, grreat camera work! For the fuse bracket to keep dirt and crud from getting between the pieces of metal, make a foam gasket to put between them. It'll squish between the two and keep the nasties from getting in there. A rubber gasket might work too if you want something a bit stiffer than foam, but foam would probably form fit to the metal better if it's thick enough. Best wishes for Ping.
