Other quick tips: 1) if there is a number answer it is probably the one closest to all the others. E.g. A) 2 B) 8 C) 10 D) 12 Is more often B or C, and more likely C. This is because errors are often usually random around the correct answer. Each question is aiming for 20-40% of people to miss it so middle numbers answers provide more opportunities for someone to stumble to an answer above or below the correct one. 2) Longer word count answers are more likely correct than shorter answers. A) (12 words long) B) (8 words long) C) (6 words long) Is probably A since correctness requires more precision than incorrectness. Since both of these are rooted in something fundamental to test taking, even if the test writer is looking for them they are hard to avoid pitfalls.

If you are trying to learn grammar rules, my best advice would be to write your own example sentences. This is probably extra effective for me because I am autistic, so when I write an example sentence relating to one of my special interests my brain is flooded with dopamine and I remember it forever, but I think anyone can benefit from this. Basically, take notes on grammar rules but instead of copying down their boring ass example sentences, come up with your own! It helps you use the rule in context so you can understand how it’s used.

This is good for question having basic framework but for more complex question requires a way of thinking and thought process which can only be developed by actual practice. As this trick works good in NDA mathematics but for JEE its important to understand and analysis parameters for example while solving a problem we come across 2 possible solution but after understanding the condition of question all possible solutions are eliminated and hence we get (-1) as an award. So practically its good for 20percent questions in JEE but for all question your overall rank will decrease.
