How To Fix High RAM/Memory/CPU/DISK Usage on Windows 11/10 (2023)

All of these are completely safe. I'll go into detail on how these works. 1. Sysmain stores data and boots up apps that you use frequently on start. This can slow down your boot. So disable it. 2. Setting your Windows to maximum performance turns off all system post processing. So it may look blurry/choppy but it'll boost FPS as your PC doesn't have to smoothen everything. 3. Disabling useless start-up tasks stops your apps from staring on boot. This will decrease RAM usage. 4. Having enough space on your HDD or SSD is just good PC practice. Always clean out unnecessary files and only keep/run necessary things. 5. Updating Windows is always a good idea, as it makes Windows more secure and faster. 6. Changing power plan to high performance prevents Windows from saving energy by turning down efficiency modules. This will boost performance but use more electricity. It may also heat up your PC. 7. Cleaning cache cleans out trash files. It doesn't do much. 8. Cleaning temp removes temporary online files, like video cache. 'temp' and '%temp%' are two different directories. 9. Restarting shuts down all programs. While, shut down caches all programs to your HDD/SSD and to restore them at boot. 10. Windows defender scanner checks for malware and tries to remove them. It's good to scan once every week. If your problems are not fixed by these. I suggest overclocking, changing system registry files, running optimization .bat/.cmd files etc. But these are very advanced and shouldn't be done without proper knowledge of what you're doing.

im very thankfull to you because im my temp folder there were more than 2gb and in $temp5 there were 800mb+ i've never used to clean if you didn't tell us this trick ...now my pc works very fine my pc specs is very low - processor - intel pentium ram - 4gb + 2gb ddr3 ram graphics - no gpu only system based 2gb

basic things first , replace hard disk with ssd. clean your laptop/desktop fan psu fan etc. my laptop was very slow, it has i3 6th gen with 2 ghz only. i changed hdd with ssd and cleaned fan. how it is working good.

Once I did select the " best performance" option in advance setting and all the fonts in my PC got blurry, broken and thin looking.... I again reverted back to select the " let windows decide". I'm scared now to disable the "SysMain" too due to that bad experience!!

hi there!! when you go back to the performance selection, there is an option under 'custom' that lets you revert the fonts back to normal! no harm done :)
