@@amitchoudhary449 Did you run the above set of commands BEFORE attempting an update? If not, your key is lost to the bit-bucket. Also, your microprocessor must support WIN10; otherwise, it won't install.

Your tutorial helped me to upgrade Win 8.1 to Win 10 home. The narration is so simple and to the point. Recently did it, and constantly failed at 73%, for those who have the same problem as me try downloading win iso, mounting the iso, run the setup with administrator rights, select the "change on how windows setup downloads updates" option, and select "not right now", that fixed my install at least, hope it helps

It appears to have worked. Thanks. Only took 1:15 got hung up at getting updates and save settings which I changed to save nothing. Probably should have left the 2 progarms in there so i didnt have to go thru the other setup stuff. Only other hangup was my laptop battery when it shut down i had to f1 to skip intrnal diagnostics. 8.1 pro to 10 pro. I watched the video many times while the computer was updating. Hope that helps.

I was able to upgrade windows 7 to windows 10 for free also. Jan 19, 2021. The message above the “Download the tool now” button stated that you must have the license to upgrade to windows 10. The free upgrade worked without purchasing windows 10. Thank you for this video.

I followed this guide; I was running 8.1 because that's what I had a product key for and I needed to upgrade to 10. Following this worked for me; only issue I had was using a disk that had Win 10 on there. You kinda need a product key when you boot from the disk or run the installation setup from your Disk Drive inside your OS, which was the only issue I ran into. Downloading the Media Creation Tool, opening the file in your downloads, then upgrading from there worked for me.

This is my 4th attempt. I've downloaded gone past the verification, signed the accept, and check for updates. Not it's on 'make sure you're ready to install.' 3 hours have passed. I'm afraid I'm still going to get a fail notice. It's nearly 2am in the morning. I've got 4 GB of Ram and 120 GB of space on a hard drive. License on 8.1 is active and my graphics card is fine.

Hey sir, since roughly four days ago my computer has been in automatic repair and it’s CPU is extremely high thanks to ‘service host spot verifier’. My C drive’s storage was full for I had downloaded a lot of documents, but I have deleted them when my CPU couldn’t handle it. However, my computer still crashes after every minute and it still tries to fix its files whenever I boot it up to no avail. Is this because of an update or did I cause this by myself? I have read that the latest update did cause a lot of problems, but the articles were very vague. Thanks for reading.

Its mostly your fault because u download those folders/documents without desinstalling them once you done using them. Is the same problem as my old laptop u can do a rebuild data base but it can be dangerous if you do not have internet or other problems that can hurt the rebuild of your computer but i think sir u can delete everything u installed,put and etc then restarting your laptop (By the way u cant delete/desinstall the things that microsoft put in your computer this can be fatal so be careful) and then do the rebuild but if u want to keep the personal data just buy a stick and extract the information .And the PC/Laptop its back to the default form .Be careful what kinda stick u buy it can be from other device it must be a USB i think its the right one but i dont really know much about sticks i hope i was helpful(the database rebuild must be done by a professional IT man it cant be done manually)
