Hello everyone! The döner we bought from Karadeniz Döner minute 2:46 had a cost of 40 TL (7 usd) but it had 150 grams (double portion). The normal döner (70 grams approximately) has a cost of 20 TL (3.5 usd). 📕 Check out our amazing itineraries and guides! We have carefully created many itineraries not just in Istanbul but in many cities around Turkiye, organized useful information for you, including a list with plenty of hotels for all budgets in each city we mention, a list with more than 100 restaurants including one with vegan options, desserts, and much more! All the guides are LIVE, that means that they're updated daily and surely we’ll keep adding more and more! The new changes will automatically sync even after you get it WITHOUT an extra cost! All you have to do is sign up for free and get the guide or itinerary you're interested in! 🎉 www.thatch.co/@beryistanbul

If you are a student in Istanbul (local or international) you rarely spend more than 20 TL/day. Maybe 900-1200 for accomodation and you use student card for transportation and other means for discounts. Specially now TL is much low in value due to inflation and other things, living in Istanbul or Ankara is best for students.

All this foods I’m eating them from the city center of Beşiktaş which is a very local place in Istanbul but the döner was a bit more expensive because mine was double portion 😂 that’s the reason and I forgot to put that it was double not one portion. Also, that place “Karadeniz döner” in Beşiktaş is very famous among the turkish people, that’s why also is a bit more expensive than other places but you can find döner in many other locations starting maybe from 12 TL(2 usd) ☺️
