May Allah reward that woman for her kindness and amazing character representing our beautiful religion 🤍

This reminds me of what the Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace be upon him) did. Every day a woman used to throw her garbage on him as he would walk past her house and he never once said anything or changed his direction. His daughter would weep when he returned home and would remove the rubbish from her father's hair and shoulders. Then one day on his walk he noticed that the old lady wasn't there. He assumed something must be wrong so he went to her house and equired after her. Indeed she wasn't well. But on seeing the love the Holy Prophet s.a.w had for her despite her behaviour, she accepted Islam there and then. She thought how can this man who never reacted as I threw rubbish on him and still enquire for my health be wrong. The Prophet (may peace be on him) taught Muslims to show Islam through their actions and practices.

I think what I learn from her story is that in the beginning she had negative thought about islam and muslim. Then, she met a muslim women. She still had negative thought or stereotype. After she got sick, then she found this muslim woman is very kind, unexpected, and with her kindness then she change her mind about the muslim or islam's face.

The only thing that divides between ISLAM and MUSLIMS is PRACTICAL DEEDS . I mean majority of Muslims do NOT practice their FAITH into humanity. They are concentrated on the symbolic stuff like wearing hijjab . Growing beards. ..going to mosque frequently. Avoiding eating pork ...etc . That's NOT the real meaning of ISLAM . The lady from Indonesia had a knowledge of understanding ISLAM by putting her faith into ACTION !!!

I used to really love Elizabeth, I remember reading her eat love pray book years ago and loving it. But now, it’s very clear to me she’s no role model- another confused westerner, granted she is a seeker but still to end up in Islam and ignore all its contradictions especially as a woman to me it’s unthinkable and pretty typical of western converts. It’s easy to miss the Forrest for the trees, she will come to regret this decision I doubt she will be Muslim in years to come. They say the average time is 7yrs before they panic, I doubt she will last that long once she actually learns it on her on and recognizes it’s many limitations and blatant contradictions. I’m agnostic, I do believe in a higher power but I refuse to accept Islam as being anything other than the most exploitive religion for women on earth. I was sadly born into it and didn’t get a choice, Elizabeth look around honestly at the Islamic world look what women are fighting for:- basic freedoms in Iran & KSA and all over, that’s because of this ideology from the 5th century, seeing you is a betrayal to those women.
@user-dj2iy6zj6d4 жыл бұрын
, my question is this? Is there any man anywhere on this planet who would like to see his mother or sister wearing revealing clothes? The answer is no. That’s because, he respects his mother and sister and puts them on a pedestal of respect. Islam does that not just for your mother or my mother, but it does that for all women everywhere by forcing men to respect them. Islamic clothing is not about repression, it’s about modesty and respect for women. If a man cannot see his immediate family female members in clothing which is immodest than he has no business seeing any other woman other than his wife in that state as well. Islam protects women, if only you looked at it from the right perspective.
@krushkrushemz17184 жыл бұрын
Islam was the first religion to give women their rights, at a time where women were not even given rights in countries that are known for ''equal rights'' today. Before we think we know the religion actually look into it properly and with an open mind (reminder for me first). even born Muslims may not still know the knowledge and wisdom behind things we are still learning and we learn from those who Allah has blessed with knowledge like the scholars. Allah knows best
