I love all your videos, Mark. The next time you're in London you should try some traditional cockney fair of pie, mash and liquor, stewed eels and jellied eels from one of the many pie and mash shops dotted around the capital. My personal favourite shops are F. Cooke, Broadway Market, Hackney and A. Cooke's, Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush, which starred in the cult film Quadrophenia.

(as a Brit) - I was looking at the prices of some of these things and thinking WOW we so get ripped off for absolute garbage. Compare to what he spends in Thailand and what you get for your money. No wonder he was unhappy looking - uk street food, not a patch on our oriental cousins.
@cutuecus13663 жыл бұрын
Yeah as a Northerner from Scarborough it’s unbelievable how much they charge for tasteless meals with no sauce, spices or real magic to them. So bland! An authentic Rogan Josh curry or a Pad Thai looks like heaven in comparison, and it’s also much healthier.

Mark knows nothing about the finer points of food and is not an expert on food and culinary styles/techniques. He's just there to have a good time travelling and eating at ordinary eateries and makes ill-informed comments and comes up with all those silly and girlish facial gestures at every dish he tastes. Well, his profession pays good returns...

The British should really thank their immigrants, because of their contribution they seem to actually get out of the bland food zone gradually and are introduced to a lot of different varieties and fusions of dishes inspired by mouth watering cuisines from across the world. And they have actually started to use spices!
