Hi friends 🌸 I haven't really spoken about this before, but I hope that by sharing my healing journey I can help anyone out there who is struggling. I truly believe, and have experienced, a complete healing of my eating disorder and I know it is possible.
After 5 years of struggling with my body image and health I finally realized that something had to change. So I stopped everything I was doing and started focusing on healing. It was a long journey, but I learnt so much, and I hope you can find this advice helpful to healing.
If I knew then what I know now my life would have been very different.
Thank you so much for watching 🌺

Even for someone who hasn't experienced an eating disorder, this video was so helpful about focusing on what's important 🪗🧡, not talking negatively about food or bodies, etc. I've got to practice this more myself, and try to spread the word to those around me!

I danced too from a young age. Once when being around 12 my dance teacher told me my stomach wasn't flat enough. My stomach was flat and I was very slim. Skinny you could say. Her comment didn't get to me though because I just thought it was ridiculous. But I do know it's easy for youngsters to start on a stupid diet, getting into an anorexic disorder etc. I'm so glad you're healthy now and you look beautiful. Love 💗💗💗

In ED treatment, a break from exercise is emphasized simply for physical healing but like you’ve said here, the mental healing from taking a break is soooo helpful! You’ve shared a lot of great wisdom here❤

Wow, this is the best video (or any educational piece) about how to move forward from an eating dsorder, that I have ever encountered!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your very positive aproach; I really feel like its a hope drenched and very posotive way!! Im 30 and got diordered eating around 19, when I started getting chronic healthproblems, and it has followed me ever since, although much less the last 6 years. But every time my mental of pfysical health goes down it makes itself know again.The doctors I talked to didnt take me seriously or didnt inquire further, and I didnt think there was any good help to get with this, so I have adopted some of the same principals as you to manage it myself, just never as formulated or explicit. But youreally hit the nal on the head here! :D 👏👌

I had an eating disorder when I was a teenager. No one knew. Even though I lost so much weight and would never eat in front of anyone. It was cool to be super skinny back then so no one really was worried. So for most of my adult life I’ve struggled on and off with Ed tendencies. Purging everything from time to time, binging and restricting myself from foods. Food is an obsession for me and I hate that it’s the only thing I seem to really talk about with people. I feel like others see me as this one dimensional person and I hate that. There’s more to me than that.

Hello Saga. I can't claim to have experienced these issues myself, but still recognise the gentle wisdom which typifies your videos here. I am sorry that the van lifestyle is taking some adjusting to; I find routine helpful and do let us know (if you're happy to do so of course) how this settles down in due course?

Hi Alec! I was missing your comments ❤️ thank you so much! It’s funny you say that, since I implemented a very strict routine started yesterday! Which is really making it all feel a bit more straight forward - and will be making a video on just that 😊

Wasn't it difficult to stop exercising? You know: feeling guilty? yeah, first comment!
@SagaJohanna
@SagaJohanna Жыл бұрын
Yes it was, in the beginning, since it was so different. But it really helped and once I hadn't done it for a week or two the thoughts about feeling guilty disappeared, so it was really good in the end. And now I don't have them even though I exercise! Yay! My first first comment comment :D
