Not because of the waiter in europe tip is not a must so waiters are paid fair with salary they dont give af about tip they dont expect it. You have to ask what you want they will not come & check or speak with you 3-4 times. If the place is not crowded maybe they can ask 1 time about meal did you like it etc. But in US waiters salary is tip actually

Yea you just look at them when they pass and lift or nod your head and they will come to you. Or maybe lift your hand a bit so they know you want something. Lifting it to high up is seen as rude though. They wont say it ofc but its not nice to lift your hand high up or wave at them. Tips... well you just round it up. Like when its 18 euro's or something you round it up to 20 euro. and the 2 euro is their tip. If its like 19.50 you round it up to 20 and then add some change whats in your wallet lol. When the sercive was really good and the food too.. some add 5, 10 or 20 bill

@@brotherlou-eThat's false. You don't tip in Italy, that's a foreigner thing. Europe is not one country. And you absolutely lift your arms and hands there. Most waiters literally won't notice you if you don't, because Italiens already tend to use hand gestures a lot. It's not rude to try getting attention from the waiter. Not at all.

Idk, i'm not from Milan, but in central and southern Italy it's a crime to eat pizza with fork and knife, we only use It to cut the pizza into slices and then eat normally.

They have completely misunderstood the situation. The fork and knife are only there for cutting. You don'g get pre-sliced pizza. You cut it for yourself. They didn't show anyone else who used a fork and a knife to put the pizza in their mouths, right?

Even in Milan, no one eats it like that. The only case might be if you get a four-cheese or a capricciosa pizza, and you’re wearing a white dress shirt and afraid of making a mess, but that happens once a year. Maybe you eat the tip of the slice with a fork, and then the rest with your hands.

I laugh when italian freak out cause someone broke Spaghetti, put Ketchup on Pizzza, put pineapple on Pizza or put Shrimps on Pizza (i actually even do the thing with shrimps on Pizza). But when i see something eat a Pizza with fork and knife, than i stop laughing cause a line is crossed. I'm not Italian but only Psychopaths eat Pizza with fork and knife

Your video is spreading false information! You have completely misunderstood the situation. The fork and knife are only there for cutting. You don't get pre-sliced pizza. You cut for yourself. You didn't show anyone else who used a fork to put the pizza in your mouths, right? If anyone did, it was almost 100% sure a tourist. The fork and the knife are only there to cut your slices. And I'm sure they didn't like you because you ordered half meals. No one orders a half pizza in Italy, why would they? A pizza is for one person almost all over the world. It's like ordering two half steaks. And also, you still wanted your two (!) free drinks. They were actually quite nice to you. + you went to a crowded bistro style places, these are more like a hot dog stand than a real restaurant, you have to make yourself seen even more than already in Italy.

I agree with everything but the item selection. If it's on the menu, then it's not a problem, and shouldn't be. Why else would the bistro have it on the menu, then? If not to then throw a hissy fit about it?... Not the customer's fault here.

Spreading the pizza all over the plate is disrepectfull. I would have folded it in half and then in half again then bit it from the crust portion first.
