Fact: Some mushrooms in the wild are extremely poisonous, and a few people lose their lives every year because of that, but those in restaurants are safe to consume. However, to prevent the very low probability of having a poisonous mushroom by accident, most restaurants will not dispense the tableware until the mushrooms are fully cooked. By the way, the typical symptom of being slightly poisoned is seeing tiny people jumping and dancing around you.

@solarbuda: u say that means you're not their followers. First time they visited China, they took three months visited different province and cities. Then they come back again. This is their last trip in China. I'm sure if you're chinese living in China, you haven't travel to so many china cities like them!! Of course u may be the guy who never visit China. Too bad😣, you didn't know China changed so rapidly. Even i'm in North America, when I went there, I found myself came from A third country. We don't have high speed train, we dont't have MTR everywhere, we don't have so many electric cars, we don't have so cheap transit fee. What we have are drugs everywhere, '0' shopping, gun shots every day etc.. If you find China boring, WELCOME to our country! You'll find very exciting every day!😂

Yunnan Province is the province with the highest incidence of food poisoning, mainly due to ingestion of wild mushrooms. But the mushrooms in restaurants are absolutely safe because only strict screening can avoid big trouble.

Kunming is known as the eternal city of spring.. with beautiful spring temperature all year round.. and also the biggest flower producer in China if not the world.. its a shame you didn't go to the biggest flower market in the world.. next time you need to checkout Lijiang the Ming dynasty town at the foot of dragon mountain not far from where you are.. same distance as Bangkok..

A friend from Yunnan said that he ate fresh mushrooms and didn’t see funny things, so he thought he was not poisoned.
