I LOVE that tidbit from your grandpa about raising kids! Thank you for sharing that. I'm 26 and am currently 6mo pregnant with my first, and I'm the first in most of my social circles to be having a baby. The topic of raising kids in today's world is one I hear all the time. What a great nugget of wisdom from your grandpa.

Love what you said about,”feeling confident in your aging.” The biggest part of feeling good and having great skin, is what you put in your body and on your skin. I teach my clients to feed their skin with antioxidants and don’t be cheap with your products, what you use matters, just like what you eat matters. Also stop the foundation and concealer, having been a Holistic Master esthetician for almost 40 years, I can tell you that the minute I take a client off of foundation and concealer their skin improves dramatically within days and weeks. Aging is a beautiful thing that many people are not given and you need to embrace it instead of constantly wasting every day worrying about it. Your so right!!! With age comes wisdom, security, beauty and there is nothing more beautiful than a woman who is embracing this journey and who is embracing her age and not trying to look 20. I have always loved what you do here, but I most especially loved this! 🙌🏼🍑🧡Lisa

Yes yes! I would love a deep dove into hormones and how they are helped by plant based eating! Thank you for sharing your personal experience! I’ve been wf plant based now for 6 months and I love what it has done for my cycle so far and my weight and energy. I really want to prevent breast cancer, as my mom had it (and survived, praise God!) and I seem very sensitive to flax seeds (they give me cystic painful breasts). So I would be so grateful to hear more on hormones. Thank you for all you do! 💛

One of my favourite videos of yours! I took so much away from this right from the start. I'm having some hormonal struggles right now and no longer have my cycle after getting only 2 since my sons birth 22 months ago. I'm gaining so much more weight than I did throughout pregnancy and its affected me in so many ways even though I'm eating much less! Can you believe I have some unopened macca power sitting in my cupboard! I'll be having a nice big green smoothie and macca oats for breakfast! ❤ can't wait to try out the arrow root power for dry shampoo I've quit my standard dry shampoo because I was concerned of the toxins and until now had no clue what to replace it with! ❤ thank you

Yes maca is amazing! It has an earthy flavour so u’ll get used to it even trying 1/4 tsp at a time until you get used to it and then increase it. Do not do it for longterm as it can effect weight gain if you have an issue with weight loss, and it can effect estrogen levels dropping it and elevating it somewhat dramatically

Thank you for mentioning the importance of healthy fats and maintaining your cycle. I found the same thing to be true for me. When I tried the low fat starch solution style of eating I got too lean and my period went away. :( I’ve since then been adding nut butter to my oats every morning religiously It tastes so good and honestly makes me so happy lol. My period has been regular for 6 months now! Love avocado too - I think I’m around the same age as you and I just don’t think women our age necessarily need to do low fat. Maybe in another season of life! Love this video - Olivia is beautiful, like her mom ;) 💓

Such a polished and warm approach how you addressed the nay-sayers. As you mentioned, those who may see things differently and share in a meaningful, sincere way..., that is information we can give ear to. Thanks for being transparent about your faith walk. It seems to be the baseline for a lot of other things in our lives. If I could kindly mention regarding Sabbath, no agenda intended, it's been my understanding the solemnity of God's seventh day Sabbath (Saturday) was changed to the first day (Sunday) by religious hierarchy, tho it was not His intended design. I learned this later in life, and it really gave me pause. It's one I had to do some digging into myself. Thanks for listening... I do appreciate all the knowledge you guys pass our way in so many different categories. You can tell it's been well researched. Every new day is a day to try to do it a little bit better. Blessings! (Sorry so long!)

Hey Erin: love your app and i love that the meals are so toddler and kid friendly as well. We are a plant based family and being a busy mom of 2 I don’t have to think much because the recipes have the protein and veggies that my kids need for a balanced plant based meal. 3 things that resonated with me in your video today: i need to check out osea, quote from your grandpa, outfit you were wearing in the video. Will check it out. I didn’t realise Amazon has natural fibre outfits. Could you pls talk about what’s your approach on homeschooling kids. We moved to Australia from US and now that I have kids that are in similar age group as max and Olivia we’ve decided to homeschool our kids as well. Another thing I wanted to ask: how do you continue to raise vegan kids in a beef and chicken eating community? What if they want to eat meat in the future? I’d love to hear your take on it. Thanks to you both and for all that you’re doing and sharing!

What a Beautiful video! Thank you for sharing! I think one of my favorite parts of your video was how you don't just keep God talk to a morning devo or family prayers. You try to implement God into every part of your day. From nature walks,, to trips to the ocean. I think it is so important for kids to see God everywhere and not just to put him in a box, or a book. So easy for even Christian parents to fill the days of their families with so much activity that they forget about God, inadvertently. I love that your family strive to live life from a place of active rest

You’d be such a beautiful friend to have in real life ❤ 🌸 amen about being a Christian. It’s ok to have a denomination but overall it’s about a relationship with Jesus. Many times it’s the religion that pulls folks away because they hear stories etc. Walk and talk with Jesus daily. See Him in all creation, the ocean 🌊 is a top one where my hubs and I just are in Awe! And mention the same to our boys. Sunsets 🌅 are another. Just wow. Flowers 💐 and plants 🪴 just amazing.
