Best way I can describe this story arc is a perfect storm. House's Vicodin use is at an all-time high (pun not intended), and Tritter's an addict himself, fighting to give up smoking. One thing about nicotine gum...it can raise the blood pressure...make a man more irritable. And all the way through, Tritter's going at it just as much as House is going away at his pills. They're both arrogant, stubborn, angry men who happened to butt heads one day, much to the chagrin of everyone around them. But I must say, it was entertaining.
@FreedomLovingFox2 жыл бұрын
Well said, I think it should also be mentioned that they were also formidable foes to one another. Tritter is much smarter than House thinks he is and House is much more charming than Tritter thinks he is

@@TrollMalefico1984nuh uh. House did rehab for like 3 days while on vicodin secretly thrn quit. Cuddy rolled her eyes and that was the end After house went off the deep end and drank booze and od d on pills and then cut himself when he was detoxing for endorphins to not feel pain. The season ended and nothing happened.

To be fair to tritter That’s an absolutely insane amount of pill bottles. Any other Dr caught with that many would be assumed to be running a pill mill for cash. House’s arrogance is his downfall He should have only had like 3-4 bottles and refill as needed.

Really, the smart ones are the ones that allow their own brains to trick them into needing chemicals they don’t in reality?! The dumb people are the ones that resist addictive substances because they know the side effects?! Academic intelligence is one thing, instantly knowing not to consume something because you already know the side effects, is something else entirely, it’s the ability to learn from the mistakes of yourself or others!

An addict can be smart as long as they get their fix. The longer they don’t get their fix, the more irrational they become. When every second you aren’t high start to get more and more painful, you stop thinking clearly.

@Orion-yd4dy3 жыл бұрын
Hell yes it is. Whatever the underlying issue may be, the law is clear that so long there is a valid reason to arrest and/or search someone, the search is valid. In this case, House was arrested while driving, and a pat down of his jacket revealed loose Vicodin. Enough of a “legal” reason to create probable cause and grant a search warrant.
@ciaranoconnell47833 жыл бұрын
@@Orion-yd4dy That's nowhere near enough to justify a search warrant of someone's house. Tritter can have all the suspicions he wants. There's no way in the world a cop can get a search warrant from ANY judge after a simple arrest on the road for supposedly under the influence of substance so minor. Hardcore drugs yes, prescription pain relief? LOL. No chance. In fact, it could be argued that any case brought to trail as a direct result of anything found in the house can be legitimately thrown out as there is no just cause as it is an obvious abuse of power and an infringement to the defendant's rights to privacy. A good lawyer in the real world, hell even just a bang average lawyer,, will inevitably and successfully argue to have this case thrown out because ''the evidence'' was seized in an highly unlawful manner with no underlying justification to execute such a search warrant in the first place.
@Orion-yd4dy3 жыл бұрын
@@ciaranoconnell4783 Do remember that Tritter also saw House popping Vicodin in front of him as if they were tic tacs, and therefore practicing medicine under the influence. That fact, plus the pat down would produce enough probable cause for a warrant.

I always hated one thing about House and that's how he thought he was better than others. Regular people in chronic pain can't just get meds like that but he thought he deserved them. Yeah he was smart, but so are a lot of other people. Maybe another person in pain could have found the cure for cancer if they weren't laying on the floor in pain. Maybe someone could have saved an infant from being run over if they could run instead of barely moving.
@sadezem9912 жыл бұрын
that's true, i'm sure i could do a lot of things with my life if i could get proper pain management meds but that's not really the fault of the people who are fortunate enough to get them.

Regular people with chronic pain don't know how to monitor and check themselves like House does. Regular people didn't go to med school and become one of the most prestigious doctors in the world. Yeah making different life choices gives you certain privileges that others don't enjoy.
