Nicely presented. I have been running a PC for well over 10 year's. By using a simple, bare bones, antivirus package and paying for the yearly renewal, and most importantly NEVER downloading software offered as "FREE". Even trial version's of software should be used only after you have done a mirror backup of your system before you install it. I still have a system that boot's quite fast. Windows 7 Ultimate. Also if you are still running Win 7, be sure never to use the original GADGET feature the original package included. Last but not least, try to always have a mirror image backup of your boot/O.S. drive. Get an external hard drive and do backup's as often as you can. When you have this on hand, you are virtually bullet proof. If a drive crashes or some other trouble happens,simple use your mirror image backup. And do not dismiss anything this man that produced this video has presented. Almost 2 million views. This tells us something about the success of his particular techniques.

Powering off and then back on, pressing the F10 worked! After that, we had to put in a password, and then the administrator password. It then took us to a screen to reset the pc. Thank you for your help!

It’s you don’t have a recovery partition then you need a windows cd. If your computer was Purchase from a store then your computer has a recovery petition if it’s not to old. Please check out my channel I have videos on this

Great video man! Just one suggestion: You can only be certain that it will work in Windows 10 or 8. It may not work in 7, Vista, or XP. You'd have to check first.

I had a desk top with windows 7 on it. Sometimes it wouldn't boot. So I'd start over. I knew about the restore capability on the computer, but I was afraid my word software, excell and other expensive software would be erased. It finally quit booting altogether. I bought another computer with windows 10 which I'm having difficulty learning. In the end I removed the hard drive from the windows 7 computer and I'll use it for an exterior back-up drive. After seeing your video, I could have used the restore safely and possibly avoided buying another computer. I'll know better next time! Thanks!

Simple. Many PC's have a hidden partition on the hard drive with a full installation, fresh and clean. But some PC's do NOT have this feature. In those case's you do need Disc's. Personally I prefer to always have disks on hand. If the main drive with the portioned backup copy crashes, your are going to need disc's or a Mirror Image of your C drive.

Sorry you are having trouble. If you plug your computer to LAN it may work so you can do updates. If not you may need a 2nd PC with a thumb drive go to the manufacture website and download the drivers and plug the thumb drive in the computer and install the LAN drivers.

All you have to do is f11 your hp pc... you don't have to go in to safe mode first to get to the recovery screen. All you have to do is shut the computer down... Then after it fully shuts down... Push the power button then immediately start tapping f11 it will take you right into the recovery screen then just follow the prompts

This solution only works if your laptop has a computer restore partition . If not then you will need a Windows install disc.

Unfortunately your trick didn't work on mine it's also an HP but it keeps showing me that my PC ran into a problem and it will reboot it but it says this over and over again

Thanks for the safe mode clue, I was able to restore my Dell Optiplex to factory settings. Without safe mode all I could get to was system restore, then it would tell me that there was no image to restore. The image was on D:\ but the computer was looking at C:\. Thanks again.
