This was an interesting week full of some tough movement, and some unfortunate circumstances. However, it was a great time playing SM64 for 1 week, and here's what happened.

shy guy in talons isn't actually rng. whenever shy guy sees you, he will chase you. For some reason, moving to the left side of the tower can get you seen by him, even through the wall. Thats probably the rng that your reffering to. Go on the right side of the tower and you're set my dude. Also good vid btw

Great video. I've just started speedrunning more seriously myself the past month in Donkey Kong Country, and I similarly had massive progress in only a week's time (top 100). . . While I do think a lot is still on a player to player basis, the fact remains one week of dedicated work will place you in tremendous growth and videos like this can inspire more people to test the waters.

Eazy is the kinda guy to usually not get the 1st place record in the video he would upload but it takes him like 5 milli seconds to get a really good record on any random game that’s recommended🤔

This is kinda inspiring. A few years ago I messed around with this game a bit and practiced a few glitches and stars just for fun, but I never did a complete run or anything. But to this time I only knew some things from some big speedrunners who played this game for ages basically as a full time job. So I quickly lost interest, since I thought, I'd need a lot of time to even come close to completing a run in a reasonable time. Now I watch this and see how far you can get in just this short span of time. Makes me want to give it another try. Already the thought of beating this game in around half an hour sounds amazing to me.
