I tried speedrunning Stick War and found the most overpowered strategy in the game

Stick War is a classic flash game where you have a bunch of stickmen that fight in a war. Kinda obvious. Speedrunning this game takes more thought than you think though and results in a beautifully overpowered strategy. Also yes, this is the same game as Stick War: Legacy, though it has a bit less detail

Stick War Legacy: conquering lands for the Order Empire

@@B-52H the world of Inamorta is full of tribes that has mastered the art of a type of combat (spear, swords, Magic, etc) and the order Empire starts to conquer then to bring order. Thing is, in the second game is show how the Order empire has just brought war and destruction, so the tribes that are still free decide to fight agains them until the Chaos empire, an empire of monsters ruled by Medusa shows up, cause the chaos the Order empire has made them stronger. I reccomend reading the wiki, is pretty fun

The RNG he is referring to is the amount of troops they sent out. And the way they came out. Sometimes you will notice he is able to finish off the statue before the troops get to his character

Your war caused chaos to others from their perspective while in your perspective you were just defending your home. You did however make peace with everyone in a certain level so everything worked out in the end

Previously when I played Stick Wars, the best strategy was to actually garrison your troops. After clicking garrison, try to take control of a unit before it can completely garrison, that unit will then be ignored by enemies and you can kill everything for free. It only works if everything is garrisoned except for that unit you're controlling.

Just so you know, there is a bug in the game where you can send your units to retreat fully, summon a swordsman and click on him before he runs off screen and the enemies can’t see you, it can be used to beat the game very quickly.

i never got to complete this game as every time without fail once i beat no mans land it froze. this is my first time seeing the last levels. my strat was kind of like yours but once i got to the gladiator, spawn one, control him, and continuously spawn archers to defend while i attacked.

It's called Spearton. Don't repeat EazySpeezy's mistake of calling them "gladiators." Speartons are thematically based on Spartan hoplites and not gladiators. They are NOT the same thing.

To be fair, for speedruns, the easiest strategy is to spam fully upgraded sword units because they have the highest speed and DPS. Spear units attack faster and have more health, but that lack of speed becomes very noticeable if you're rushing.

The reason why they attack the air after the survival levels is because the AI isn't disabled during cutscenes causing them to target the statue but because there isn't one they look like they attack air.

I remember as a kid always going for the swordsman. The gladiators took too long to create and the giants were too slow to even want to use them. Very fun game!

If you only are just now playing Stick War Legacy. Here are some tips: The miners can be used to attack enemies, this one gets you out of a jam when you're outnumbered. Only works with unit control. Sword jumps: It does extra damage and is slightly faster. I personally use sprint jumps, where you just sword jump a ton without stop. Your basically Usain Bolt when you sprint jump. Spear throws: Speartons can throw spears, it does roughly around 400 damage. Can two-shot giants. Can be used without user control only via store item. Can be recharged by going into hiding. Do not EVER spend money on the game: You can get everything you need by grinding normal playthroughs or zombie playthroughs. Griffons are OP, Gold Spearton is OP, Gold Archer is dog water, Kai Rider is OP. Also use Zombies in fights.

The reason the soldiers seem to attack the air on the ambush stages is probably because there actually is an enemy monument on that stage, it's just invisible. That's my guess anyways.

*OG/Legacy* : Miner, Archidon, Swordwrath, Spearton, Golden Spearton, Magikill, Meric, Giants, Marrowkai, Toxic Deads, Pouncer Deads, Stone Giants, Kai Giant, and Griffin the Great *Stick Wars 2 and Empires* : Order - Miner, Swordwrath, Archidon, Meric, Magikill, Spearton, Shadowrath (ninjas), Albowtross (flying archidons), Enslaved Giant (Giants that throw shit). Chaos - Enslaved Miner, Crawler (zergling), Dead (Archidon with damage over time), Marrowkai (arguably better Magikill), Medusa (bullshit unit), Juggerknight (better Speartons), Bomber (By Allah), Eclipsor (Albowtrosses but squishier and faster), Giant (same one from Stick Wars 1) Elementals - Earth (Miners/Swordwrath), Water (Support/Scout), Air (Albowtross), Fire (Archidons with less range). Earth + Fire = Charrog: Basically Speartons but stronger Water + Air = Cycloid: Air version of Magikill and Shadowrath Earth + Water = Treature: Because they removed the Magikill's ability to spawn minions in Stick Wars 2 and Empires, they gave it to this tree thing which spawns Scorplings which are Chaos's Crawlers. Used in the early game to counter Chaos's Crawler spam and to harass Order. Air + Fire = Infernos: Basically a Magikill but with 2 AOEs compared to 1 Fire + Water = Scorch: Big Explosion Earth + Air = Blind Gate: In Stick Wars 2 and Empires, Fog of War was introduced. Blind Gates prevent the enemy from getting a view of your units even if they send units to scout you out. Earth + Water + Fire + Air = *V* : V is a unit that has really hard-hitting Melee Attacks and extremely powerful spells. It can turn enemy units to your side and because it can clone itself into 3 separate units, can hold itself fairly well in open melee combat. That along with its instant transmission ability allows it to escape assassination attempts and to chase down enemy units across the battlefield pretty well.
