That’s a crazy story. I recently got an unsolicited email from from a buyer myself. he claimed another item that was sold to another buyer was a scam and that the person murdered their brother 20 years ago and they wanted a copy of the receipt. I told him I can’t send receipts from other buyers to unsolicited people. That It was a protection of privacy, but that I would contact eBay and report it. They also said they were going to contact the police. But seemed to back down and even thank me after I told him that that I reported it to eBay. Really weird situation.

WTG Ryan being the bigger person in almost every instance. I am with you on the people say whatever they want online because there are no consequences for their actions. I also like what you said about saying that to you in person as it would have had a different outcome because that is exactly what I tell people that run their big mouth by typing dumb sh!t online. I am a much calmer and more thoughtful person now as I am 52 yrs old. However 20 years ago and back (of course not much internet then) it was SUPER rare for anyone to say something stupid to me because I was " THAT GUY " back then. Today I still have that guy in me I just choose to be a bit better than my former self. Just wanted to say I'm enjoying the car chronicles! I learned a lot from you and Allie and the gang when I first started ebay 3 years ago and while I trailed off a bit, nothing against you or the channel just a different type of store and such, and also enjoyed the lives that you did with the 3 of you. I have a Model S also - mine has just run out of its battery/drivetrain warranty. Luckily there are now quite a lot of aftermarket repairers popping up who can fix the batteries and drivetrain motors for a fraction of the price (repair rather than replace).

You need to get AAA and get the highest level so you will have three 100 mile tows. It doesn’t cost that much annually. Make sure you have Allie on it. On your gas vehicle if the battery goes out you can call them / online buy a battery from them and they will bring it to you and install it. AAA has discounts at different places like hotels and restaurants, etc.

I agree you don’t go personal when you have a problem with someone but personally the whole thing was wrong. You don’t go to somebody’s house and insult them and that’s basically what he did. Nah, I have 2008 and 1999 Lexus ICE vehicles that never have needed major repairs. Warranties aren't available for old cars and eventually, the cost of repairs are more than the after repair value of the car. Toyota Prius have proven that point comes much sooner for hybrid and EVs than it does for ICE cars.

I’d love to get an electric car. However, I travel a lot and it seems like it is hard to find chargers when traveling. Do you have that problem?

The only problem we’ve had is it can add some time to the drive, like when we drive to Atlanta we have to stop 3 times to charge and that adds about an hour, it’s kinda nice tho. Forces you to take a break. Road trips have never been a problems for us tho, Tesla maps it out for you when you put the address in the gps.
