A very unforgettable and soul uplifting song sung by talented singers and musicians with the church congregation singing and worshiping alongside them that makes our spirits soar to the presence of God in His Church like our Risen Lord Jesus walking among the 7 burning lamp stands in The Book of Revelation referring to the 7 churches in Asia Minor in the Roman empire in 1st century AD. The lyrics are original too with 4 major biblical references in them. From our Holy Bible in the OT there is Moses's successor Joshua telling the people of Israel who were abandoning the LORD that he and his family will always serve the Living God no matter what happens declaring his strong commitment,devotion and gratitude to the LORD who had liberated them from slavery and provided food and protection for them daily in the desert. Another reference is to Ebenezer in the title of the song and in the lyrics which means thus far has the LORD helped us in Hebrew. The Prophet Samuel told the people of Israel that our Living God is Ebenezer as he delivered them from an unexpected Philistine attack on them. There is also the Psalmist King David's reference to our Creator God seeing and preserving every baby as a developing foetus in his or her mothers' womb in Psalm 139:13-16.There is also a NT reference to our Lord Jesus's prayer OUR FATHER which He had taught to His disciples and us also as a perfect model for prayer that pleases our Heavenly Father. May Lord Jesus be exalted and glorified through this song as more than a million souls including me have magnified His mighty Name above all Names through listening to this memorable song .
