I had several requests from viewers to do an overview of the Eberlestock IndiTAK that I use with my Bandit pack; ask and you shall receive!
This IFAK / First Aid Kit has been ideal for my needs and is built well enough to last. Although a little pricey, the high quality and support towards a US and Veteran owned company is better than buying something cheap off Amazon.
If you have any specific gear you'd like to see me review, or any acadmeic content you'd like to learn, please leave a comment and subscribe!

So glad I saw this. Im checking out the Bandit, which you reviewed also. Both great reviews. Once you said veteran owned , I was sold! A little tidbit... you mentioned usage of the duct tape with gauze wrap... as an EMT, once you've wrapped whatever you're wrapping, take your shears.. cut down the middle of the "dangling " part a few inches... take one half and wrap around to meet the other half and tie it off. 👍

Man... how you only have as many subscribers as you do is a mystery. Your reviews are very unbiased, realistic, thorough, and you are very well-spoken and clearly annunciate. Plus the lighting is great to boot. I needed a bit more convincing on the Bandit pack, and your review did it. I almost never subscribe to channels, but you've got a new one here.

Can’t believe you are under 1k subs. Keep up the high quality work, it will grow fast. My favorite thing about your videos… you review the product and don’t waste our time with fluff just to extend the length of the video. There are several reviews on Eberlestock products I would like to watch by other content creators but they are 40+ minutes long and half filled with a story about their new puppy or other bs. You don’t waste our time, thank you!

I was looking for a review on some Eberlestock stuff amd came across you videos. This one was very interesting since I have been looking at this med pouch for my new Eberlestock little trick. I really like the content on the videos I've watched and would be interested to see more and see where your channel goes from here. Camping, outdoors, first aid etc would be some great content. Subscribed!

Great video. Just a heads up on the name of the company, the owner's last name is Eberle pronounced ebb-bur-lee. The company is ebb-bur-lee-stock. Would love more info on the tourniquet and Israeli bandage if you can. Thanks.

@66fj45lv .. the tourniquet is most likely a CAT tourniquet. Top quality, very renowned and used..

Great video! I would like to see the content that you just described, especially the first aid stuff. I’ve heard about the equipment that you have but have never seen how to use it. Also, since your back is a little expensive, can you recommend another one with good quality? Thanks again!

@anthonyrampino7734 The pouch itself isn't as important as the contents, any reputable brand should work. Check out Mystery Ranch, Blue Force Gear, or even an Army Navy Surplus for decent options. The main things you should invest in for higher quality are the tourniquets and the shears. Cheap plastic tourniquets can snap under the tension they're placed under when used correctly, rendering them useless and possibly causing a mass hemorrhage. Trauma sheers need to be robust enough to cut through all types of clothes and gear; again, plastic isn't the best option. Most of the other contents (Band-Aids, gauze, etc) are fairly generic and shouldn't cost too much. Hope this helps!

Hmmm I'm not sure if it's been discontinued, but it does look like they have two smaller pouches now. But they did come with the velcro and molle from the factory

I know you could probably use saliva for lube in a worst-case scenario, but do you keep any type of lubricant for the nasopharyngeal tube or is it pre-lubricated. I know the ones we used for training were dry. I never opened a new one myself.
@SJA-Reviews
@SJA-Reviews Жыл бұрын
@danieljohnson5849 some nasopharyngeal tubes come with a packet of lube, but the packets are also sold separately. In a true worst case scenario, I wouldn't take the time to lube the tube if the patient didn't have a functioning airway. Here are a couple of resources! www.narescue.com/nasopharyngeal-airway-with-lubricant.html www.180medical.com/product-details/catheter/aplicare-lubricating-jelly/

Always better to be trained in how to use what you have, but don’t let lack of training deter you from carrying something that could be used on scene by someone with expertise/training.

Hey man loved the video, I have purchased based off your recommendations and I think you put out solid content. I noticed at the end of your video you put out that you were thinking about putting out some academic information, I think that’s an incredible idea and I’d love to help you in any way that I can. I am active duty I’m a combat medic and have an advanced medical background in the civilian sector as well as the DOD. I can’t not talk about it too much publicly but if there is anyway that I can reach out to you let me know and we can talk about it more in depth. Is there a good email I can reach you at?

@drewmartinez2237 Thanks man! I a really appreciate it. I started building out some lesson plans and content for academic sessions but I don’t want to cross the line of KZbin lessons vs actual training. I’ll continue to advocate and recommend classes/courses, but I’ve decided to let those professionals actually provide the material!
