Problem with the spacers at the Brake is that the Screws get Sheared of

I run a 203mm rotor and 4 piston shimano calipers with one plastic spacer and have had zero issues.

Anyone tried slipping a small tyre over one of these and making an e scooter? Could the motor housing take it?

Hi, Do you happen to know the topology of this motor or the emf pattern?
@nigelbiscombe91995 жыл бұрын
A 19” motorbike rim = a 24” bicycle rim. I went 17” motorbike rim. As wanted the supermoto look
@CrazyDave5 жыл бұрын
Nigel Biscombe in the end I went with an 18” motorcycle rim as it’s more common and easier to get tires for

Hi just about to buy and build a bike .where do you recommend to buythe motor and what do you think about a 5k motor ?
@CrazyDave5 жыл бұрын
i bought my motor here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MXUS-V3-3K-Turbo-3000w-high-speed-electric-e-bike-hub-motor-48v-60v-72v-84v-96v-/163525921603?hash=item2612e78b43 and the 5k motor also sounds good but it's harder to get hold of

I would like to ask you a question. Is there a hole for the "statorade fluid" ? If there is, where is it ?
@CrazyDave5 жыл бұрын
I haven't yet drilled a hole for the ferrofluid but if I do I will most likeley cover the topic in a future video
@marcsimeon295 жыл бұрын
@@CrazyDave ok. When you will check,take out the brake pad and look if there is one hole. One screw hole is suppose to be ready for statorade. Comeback about it cause I would like to know ;)

Do yourself a favour,, put a cassette on the back.You wont regret it if you have gremlin issues. Nothing worse that having to haul those e bikes on an incline.

Can i put this one on a fat tire 4" wheel?
@CrazyDave4 жыл бұрын
Yes that should be possible the rim width on my bike is 2.8” and the tyre is about 4”

Hello, is it possible to mount a 9 speed instead of the single speed? There is plenty of space for it but can it be mounted on it?
@CrazyDave4 жыл бұрын
Yes I’m sure that that’s possible you would need a 9 speed screw on cassette
@gursisingh19404 жыл бұрын
@@CrazyDave can you physically mount it on it? Like, does the screw size fit? If you got a spare motor would you be anle to try please, doesnt matter if is 9 speed or 8 speed or 6 speed or whatever, just want to make sire, don't want to be stuck with a single speed...
@wakkowarner73914 жыл бұрын
@@gursisingh1940 I've been wondering this. I've seen other videos which shows this motor having a 9 speed cassette on it so I'm guessing it's possible.
@gursisingh19404 жыл бұрын
@@wakkowarner7391 Thats was 5 months ago lol, no I ve realised that I dont need a cassette, on my 2kw I ve done 2k miles and probably used the shifter maximum 10 times

@CrazyDave4 жыл бұрын

@staver764 жыл бұрын
@@CrazyDave Thank you for letting me know, that's insane, only 30 degrees celsius continuously running 8kw?? Were you running statorade and hubsinks?? And is this the 3T wind?
