I picked up this same motor and display kit a couple of months ago. I mounted it onto a 24 speed MGX full suspension mountain bike. I bought an 8 gear ebikeling freewheel gear to match my 8 speed twist shifter on the bike. I had to spread the rear drop out 3/4" to fit this gear, but I would have had to spread 1/2" even if I had used the kit provided 7 speed gear. I got the ebikeling 52v 21ah battery as a kit addon. My kit came with two torque arms to prevent the rear hub motor from twisting out, and I used them both. It's no exaggeration to say the motor is whisper quiet. You can hear tire on road noise, but you can't hear motor noise. I'm very happy with the result. I edited this message just to clarify that I have the 1500w motor with a separate controller, not built into the motor as yours appears to be.

This is a very powerful motor. Unfortunately, the internal controller is not well protected and is prone to failure. I have had to replace TWO of these. One lasted a little over 335 miles the other one failed at 86. They do not handle hard bumps well. I mostly ride paved/gravel roads. It is a bad idea to have the electronics in the wheel. I loved the look of the internal controllers but they're too fragile.

Hi wondering if you can help me I have the 1000w kit on mine as soon as it goes over about 30mph the motor starts vibrating every time I built one a few years ago and don’t think that one did it it doesn’t do it if you lift the back wheel up and test at full throttle just when your riding it. Do you know if yours does the same? Thanks

Can this hub motor withstand a 72 volt 20 Ah battery and now I using a 48V 20Ah battery. I bought my built-in controller hub motor and it uses an SW-900 display. I could have bought the same display as the one here But I got me the SW-900 display a long time ago and I don't remember the specs. On the hub motor on it reads CZriding (I guess the is the brand) and a long number ZC620040997 (I guess that is the model) . Thank you very much.
