The main reason signed with RR instead of Simon is so that Angelina could control her own music - what she sings, what she writes, and what she records - and RR gave her that opportunity - she didn't want Simon or his producers to control her music. Also, one of the provisions of the RR contract would be that Angelina would be able to finish school before being heavily promoted.

This video is full of misinformation. AGT had wanted Angelina on the show for several years after she won Norway’s Got Talent. AGT was turned down because Angelina and her family did not want her to be obligated to sign with Simon’s label. After negotiations a deal was struck that would allow Angelina to appear on the show without any of those obligations to sign. So, there was never any intent for her to sign with Simon, therefore nothing to back out of. No falling out between her and Simon. The deal got her on the show which AGT wanted and gave Angelina exposure. Now whether or not that did not allow her to win has always been speculated. The exposure probably helped her in obtaining her contract with Republic Records a few months later

When she won Norway’s Got Talent, she was a CHILD. She was seven! Not because they did not want obligation to Simon’s label, but they did not want obligation to ANY production house. The best thing parents can do in her case. And who knows what was the contract conditions in USA 🤷‍♀️. All in all everything is ok now.

"AGT (America Got Talent) had always been interested in bringing Angelina to the show, but with their normal contract, artists are being locked into a label, management, and other things for many years. I think Angelina and her family have made careful steps to protect her music, her mission, and her physical and mental health. If she'd signed with Cowell's label, she sure wouldn't have her own purpose built studio, and she wouldn't be working with the likes of Toby Gad and Diane Warren, two of the top five songwriters of the last (at least) two decades. Angelina, in a sense, couldn't afford what she'd lose if she signed with Simon. All I can say is, with Angelina and Republic Records, look out world!

It’s not why didn’t Simon sign Angelina it’s more like why didn’t Angelina sign with Simon,Angelina’s manager Uncle Mike and AJ family made it clear Angelina will not be used by the Cowell franchise, and I believe that’s why Angelina didn’t win the show, every performance of Angelina’s was phenomenal on the show, I’m glad Angelina signed with Republic records as they respect her phenomenal talent so much so they built Angelina her own studio and allow Angelina to flourish in her own way, also the music Director of Republic records Rob Christie is featured in many of Angelina’s videos!

The AGT folks have no track record of successfully handling artists, or can you name at least one successful example? Hence artists would be well advised to avoid lock-in to them if they can avoid it and have other offers. And of course if you want to work in this business you better quickly realize the realities of how it works. Talent shows are entertainment, not real competitions. They will use you and you can use them for exposure - thats the deal.

I believe Angelina signing with Republic Records was a MUCH better choice than with Simon's label. Angelina signed with Republic Records at age 14, as their highest priority new artist. Republic built her a studio for her to create her magic. While we don't know the terms of the contract with Republic, Angelina's career has been on a slow, steady pace forward. She has had opportunities of meeting and working with the elite in the music industry. Angelina is only 18 years old and there is no reason to fully promote her yet. Angelina has yet to release a full album on Republic, but there are hints her first album may come in September 2024. Angelina and her music have improved the quality of my life more than I can express. Her voice hugs my soul and she makes me feel the emotions of the song, unlike any other.

And correct, if it was up to the people Angelina would have easily won it instead of finishing where she did. The fact that only Superfans could vote is ridiculous. You are so full of it!! Simon has his own label as so does AGT. Her Uncle was managing her career & didn't approve of the conditions set by each. Simon tried to woo her by setting her up with "can't remember his name", but he has produced many broadway shows & has written a ton of hits for other stars (I'll probably remember his name hours later); after the show was over. But then her family turned down many recording companies, even Disney, after her winning NGT.

The only reason I ever watched AGT was to see Daneliya Tuleshova, Angelina Jordan, and Charlotte Summers all of which dominated in Views but none signed the contract so none of them even made the Top 5 on this fake Talent Show Karolina Protsenko didn't even get to Audition for the show despite having around 8 million subscribers . They are only interested in taking advantage of young Talent not in rewarding the real winner's at AGT.

Erm . there was little matter of her education . She graduated last year . You've never heard of her outside of agt , because you never looked . He confirmed that. agt contract offer was turned down , because it was to controlling and meant having to sign for Simon Cowell . some time later agt returned and a contract was agreed , which was on favourable terms for Angelina .It meant had she won she would not be obliged to sign with Simon Cowell .
