At the prices these units come at, you could buy a walk behind blower or yard vacuum. Some of those walk behind blowers make almost double the cfm these ones do. I guess it all just comes down to preference when deciding between them.

I have a large yard, lots of trees, plus my wife has an outdoor riding arena with lots of trees around. I have been wearing out my eXmark zero turn mulching and blowing them. Quite a hassle. For several years my blower consisted of a Husky hand held that just did not have the power to take all this on. Today, a friend of mine who does landscaping, loaned me his PB580T to try. Man, I was so impressed. However, after watching this video, I am starting to lean towards the PB770T for a bit more power. It sounds like it's similar to tractors. The battery powered hand held units definitely have their place, if using them to blow out the garage, blow off the patio, you can even use them inside instead of vacuuming. But, yeah, to try and blow thick layers of leaves or wet leaves in your yard with a battery hand held unit, even a gasser hand held unit, not so much. As far as run time is concerned, my Milwaukee will only run for 9 minutes using a 6.0 amp battery, of course that is running it wide open throttle, almost double that with a 12.0 amp battery, but that is a lot of battery changing for trying to use it on your yard and they are in no way as powerful as a backpack blower.
