Careful Richard, I believe that’s a ‘Category 5’ leaf blower! 😮 😆👍

I have a 9010. It has so much power, In the spring time, I use it to blow the gravel out of the ditch and back onto the road since the snow plow pushes it all in the ditch over the winter.

Beast indeed👍🏻 only backpack blower I have is a muffler modded pb-580t and it does OK.

I played it at double speed and you looked like a lawn cleanup champ! Interestingly the blower sounded exactly the same at that speed. Keep up the good work.

I have the newer version of this blower the pb9010T. It’s not a bad machine. Honestly I wish it had more power, a bigger gas tank, and a slightly longer tube. I’d gladly take a few more lbs for increased power and longer runtime. Granted the runtime isn’t terrible even with that little tank (I get around an hour on a tank) but it’s not enough to do my yard without refueling. Look at all the extra room where they could have made the tank bigger. I understand they were trying to keep the weight down for smaller people but having a bigger tank hardly adds any weight and no one says you have to fill it all the way full if your worried about a extra pound or so. As for the tube it’s clearly made for your typical short Mexican landscaper. It’s a problem for someone over 6 foot as it’s just too short to get a good angle without squatting a little. They could have included an extra section of tube for us larger folk. Overall my complaints on it are very minor and I’m happy with it overall.

I have the same blower and been cleaning up yards in northwest NC after the storm with it. Use mine also to blow wal nuts in piles in the yard and hardy ever need to use a rake. Shes thirsty through

I ran my echo pb9010t next to a coworker's stihl br800 the other day. Pb9010t seemed more powerful. Br800 seemed more fuel efficient and has an easily retractable nozzle.

@@Mastr-Tech another reason I went with the echo, among other mechanical differences that I question. I am not opposed to the Stihl 4 mix and in fact own an HT 131.

@@john.massing Or a broken cam gear or a reseal every 2 years and regular valve adjustments. I chose Echo on purpose as did you. Nothing wrong with 4 mix they have served a lot of folks well over the years.

I bought a Redmax EBZ9000 a couple of months ago. Also own a BR800. There is no comparison between the two. When blowing piles of wet leaves, the 800 seems like a toy compared to the 9000
@richardflagg30842 ай бұрын
Only thing I wish Echo would offer is a narrower tip. If your blowing near beds with mulch or pine straw you have to be really careful. The 800 is a little more precise with the necked down tip, but lacks in brute force to move heavy stuff.

When they run they run like a beast, but get ready for self destruction very soon, these blowers self destruct by way of crankshaft bearing failures, the ball retaining shield on the crankshaft bearings fail and break apart and end up getting jammed between the intake transfer port the intake side of the piston skirt and destroy the piston and cylinder. Seen over 200 of these failures in a year 1/2 …
