Wow. Thank you so much for posting this wonderful video. I thought I had seen them all. This one is particularly special.

Thank you for posting, it recently disappeared from KZbin and it's one of Eckhart's most valuable talks to me.

@ I'm so glad, thank you! My favourite part is the item about "not forgetting God even for a moment" - the idea of being aware of your lifeforce in the background to your life events, the animating presence, as often as possible. And Eckhart's comment that if you master that, you've fulfilled your purpose here.

@@HologhoulEgo means god. There is only one ego and that is god. He, who creates a new god and accepts his ego as existing and serves his wishes. The first and only condition of being a Muslim is to believe that there is no god but God. The Sufis took this one step further by saying that there is no existence other than God. It is significant that a Muslim scientist discovered the number zero. It is the existence of non-zero, it is relative. If you string millions of zeros, it gains value only if it has a leading one. He is one god, he has no partner, his existence is his own.

@@barisozcan24 That is a subjective view. Mine is that you're assuming 'God' is an individual entity, and a male one, due following teachings that have been put upon you from a young age. Embrace spiritual teaching from a broader angle rather than limit yourself to only what you've been indoctrinated with.

@@HologhoulThe ego has been given to the only living thing among beings that has the ability and consciousness to carry it. Of course, it gives the chance to experience it with this will. Then the human discovers the ego and dissolves it in the real ego by abandoning it. God is the greatest artist and you watch it on the wings of a butterfly or a peacock, on a piece of nature that looks haphazardly untouched by human hands. The unconscious human ego, unfortunately, broke the religion from its original and turned it into an identity for its collective ego and nationality. Throughout history, the Sufis have suffered the greatest persecution from the members of that religion, and they have always implicitly expressed what they say.

This is probably Eckhart Tolle's most sublime and powerful talk, and I've seen pretty much all of them.

I can’t believe this is one of my favorite videos of his as a white American who was ignorant to the divisions of Islam for most of my life. God truly transcends religious boundaries.

Let me break this down as I see it , logically. So what specialised knowledge does this so called teacher have to discuss Sufism which is an esoteric dimension intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people. Absolutely none. Because, quote: " where conceptual knowledge is transcended". It's very easy to say that without explaining how that knowledge derived at that depths of your being, not only that you know it is there. That is the problem with teachers and guru's, they dont have a clue how the intelligent species Form source derived from the elements of the Universe nor how the elements can store imprinted knowledge once it has FORMED for it's purpose. You don't need to find that place because you are already that place because your Form source has already manifested from the elements of the universe and transcended. You your lineage inception was initially FORMED ( by elements) not BORN ( biological). Hello!. No god had a hand in that process, because there is no god, only matter in one form or another. There is no need to view the video past the 3;13 minute mark. Boring. Any body can read proverbs, it's not intelligence.
