Fabulous. As a people, we have the potential to solve our problems. All we need is to believe in our God-given abilities, generosity and goodwill, without the corruption of politics getting in the way. Well Done and more grease to your elbows. How can we roll this out on a national scale?

Awesome lady with great ideas for Nigeria. I went to the site and saw the houses first hand. I climbed on that roof and put in the solar panels

The price is still not affordable to the average Nigerian. N5,000,000 for a one bedroom flat is too much for the average Nigerian. I believe there are ways to cut cost to N3,000,000 max considering this is a rural area where land is very cheap.

It is very much ok if you consider the the fact that first, it is not a one off payment, it functions as a mortgage. You make a defined down payment and then pay the rest in a span of 5 to 10 years....very reasonable....If you check the monthly payment for the life span, it is around 50k per month...They forget this is not rent money but mortgage payment, that is, once they finish the payment, the house automatically becomes theirs. If there is sth similar like this in Lagos, I will be the first to jump at it.

Joseph Odemwingie Even 3,000, 000 is still too much for the average Nigerian for one bedroom.

Land is expensive in PH and those of us who grew up there know why. You pay "matching ground" fee, foundation fee, buy goat for the youth leader, pay roofing fee, etc. Extortion at its highest order, matched (or superceded) by the Omo'niles in Lagos. That is why the costs are high.

I disagree with her with such amount she specified for an average Nigerian even though she said they can be owners of home after the completion though considering the location... anyway she has her own reason for that..

Excluding the solar panel, still find it expensive at N5,000,000. How do one invest in your project?

It's too expensive. Considering the hydrafoam blocks used are just mud sand . The total cost on the developers part including the cost of land will not be more than 1.2m to 1.5m with the solar inclusive. The rich in Nigeria always looks for ways to reep off the poor. Just see the size of the plot of land the tiny house is built on.

I thought Nigerians are all rich they talk too much about what they don't have funny people.
@queencty6 жыл бұрын
lungiborn salone where in this world have every one in a country “all rich”? Even America who claims to be all in all, there are still poor people. Nigeria has its own battle just like every other countries but that shouldn’t deems its citizens’ shines. I believe you made that statement probably because you came across a Nigerian who didn’t fulfilled your needs. If someone believes that they are rich, Goddamn it! LET THEM BE. The problem within the black community is that, you stay on the same level they are on or you stay below them. That also transferred between countries.

Even America and Europe have very poor people who live in absolute squalor. Have you been to downtown Detroit? There are places there with no running water. So your sarcasm is not well received as it comes from a place of abysmal ignorance.
