"RE-SPECT literally means to re-look, there is something in that action, if you look once maybe you just see one side - we need to look with depth . My key for inclusion is really understanding the depth of RESPECT and the re-looking that we have. If we could have any key to unlock the path between what we see and how our experiences, attitudes and beliefs impact on that to support inclusion that would be my 'take-home message' for you all."
Nisrine has been a speech pathologist for over 10 years working in early intervention services with children, families and educators to support the inclusion and participation of children with additional needs to participate in meaningful ways within their community. Nisrine is currently the Early Childhood Links Manager at SDN Child and Family Services where she works with a transdisciplinary team supporting the participation and inclusion of all kids.
