@@tonyaguilar2151 I freeking love it!! Been using it with Lavazza Blue capsules for 3 months now. So far, so good! Lavazza Blue capsules are the way to go, a higher quality of coffee, meant for commercial use mainly in their Espresso machine. 100% Arabica.

​I've had mine for 7 months and I have a tip...after the brew, run an espresso water shot through the group to clean. Also, the Lavazza Blue capsules work in this machine and are higher quality coffee. I like Top Class and Gold most of all. Look for the variety box of 100 for a small office. Excellent deal. I love this thing!

How hot does it steam the milk? If it doesn't steam the milk at a good temperature, then you are going to get a barely warm latte since the milk will not be hot enough.

Would love a follow up on how to clean each part. Thank you for showing the machine in action making just coffee. Most videos show only the milk drinks. I would love one of these but after doing the math on the Blue capsules, it would be a lot more pricey per month than my current organic bagged coffee and using my French press 😢

Clearance is 6.5" if you remove the lower drip tray...so it fits mine but depends on the. mug.

When you are finished using the machine should the lever be pulled forward or kept back. Was trying figure out how it counts how many capsules are in the bin.

The amount of water going into the frothing mug seems to be off. The same amount goes in for both the espresso and lungo. What are the correct amounts? I’ll try reprogramming it.

There may be a little bit of water into the drip tray or behind from brewing, if it seems excessive we would recommend reaching out to Lavazza!

I was just trying to figure out the same. I would assume so since initial cleaning they say to hit the 8oz button and do that twice before use. I want to be able to rinse the needles after using. Hopefully someone who know will respond.

This is a machine that requires the use of pods. Frothing Almond milk can be a bit tricky, some will work better than others. I would recommend using an almond milk that's specially formulated for frothing ( like the barista's use)

This machine only uses Expert pods, but we do have Lavazza Nespresso compatible in our stores and on our website.

You can use alternative milk but it just may not froth as well! Using a "Barista Approved" alternative milk of any variety would be the best idea! :)

Nice to know, but I'm satisfied with my Nespresso along with my backups Keurig and French Press. Besides, I like that my froth maker is separate from my coffee maker, just in case one may breakdown. Hopefully, that won't happen

Why reply if you don’t have one? It’s an astonishing machine, and the Lavazza coffee itself is top notch. Far superior to Keurig and a French Press, both of which I have used a good deal. This creates an Italian coffee or espresso with awesome crema or delicious milk-based drinks. They used to have a chocolate, which was also incredible but it seems as if that’s not in production any longer.

The Lavazza site does not mention this machine at all. Nor do they list the 'expert pods' as available. What gives? Does this machine actually make coffee at the proper pressure for espresso? I was thinking about buying a Classy machine which takes Blue Pods, then I saw your KZbin. But I wonder why Lavazza doesn't even mention this.

It is rated a commercial machine and the Blue and expert pods both work in it. Look up Lavazza professional

It would seem the gentleman in the video said the Lavazza Classy Plus uses"CAPSULE(S)" however it uses "PODS" maybe the newer versions use capsules which really does change everything. . . Please check it out let me know? Also how many bars of pressure (to froth hot milk & brew espresso) probably need less pressure for pod 🆚 capsule brewing⁉️ How does it stack up against the L'or barista espresso machines... Enjoy😊

Cant compare to the L'or as we dont have it in Canada. The capsules are referred to as pods also. Lavazza actually has ESE pod machines, as well as two different Capsules machines, the Blue /Expert is the one this takes.

For taste, it is as good...it is really a personal choice. For the one step process....much better. For selection of coffee available, there are not as many.

I’ve been going back and forth about it myself trying to make a decision. I’ll share what I’ve found in case it helps others- Some people would argue that Lavazza is better because it actually uses pressure (9bars) to extract the coffee where Nespresso uses centrifugal force (not including original machines). But this also means Lavazza is more noisy. Nespresso is very quiet. People report loving the taste of both. So you probably can’t go wrong either way. Here are some other elements to consider Lavazza pods cheaper but less variety. Basic machine is cheaper. Nespresso pods more expensive but you get more options. No Machine options as inexpensive as basic Lavazza (Blue mini). Just keep In mind single use capsules are not considered the same level as “real” espresso machines. But it is likely close enough! People use these out of convenience and to step up from Kuerig. I’m getting one to sneak into my office and hide from coworkers so I don’t have to drink coffee from that Kuerig machine. Lol

Left has an! Middle looks like a pod and right looks like a drip of water. I assume middle means the reservoir is full of pods left I’m not sure of in right is on even though I’m full of water. Please advise. This came without instructions. Sorry to impose

Hi Carla! Great choice in machine ;) The capsules will be dumped behind the drip tray! Just pull out the drip tray and container that is behind and your used capsules will be there!

What makes Lavazza better - Taste, quantity and quality of coffee in a pod (check your pod weights) brew temperature and pressure - only Nespresso Classic is close - pressure and temp has much less coffee in a pod by weight (of coffee not the pod packaging of course) The Vertuo brews at low pressure (so NOT espresso) and inconsistent temp. The K-Kup machines brew really low temp (150-180) and have very little coffee in the pod and filling yourself - well again the temp and pressure stinks. Taste wise you have Lavazza a close second is Nespresso Classic a very, very distant third Nespresso Vertuo and about as bad as you can get down the line K-cups. This machine I'm sure I won't bother with... different pod and can just make milk in a frother, or dedicated steamer.

Update: it was the water. Something has happened with our water supply (city water from a well), that made our water heater turn rotten-egg also. I've bought a whole house filter -- removes iron, microbes, everything. The fridge filter isn't as thorough as I thought. Now, if I can only find that glass frothing cup!
