I know the title has already been given to Vern Gosdin but in my opinion "The Voice" was Ed Bruce. It's so good to know that he was born again 1997. Heaven is now an even greater place. Can't wait to get there and hear him sing again!

He was a multitalented performer as well as a great songwriter and actor. He had a very distinctive voice that appealed to many. To me Ed’s acting roles showed that he was a caring man and a calming influence. May he RIP.

The last time that I saw him, he was selling cars at Continental Cars in Memphis. I think that he was dabbling in music at the time, but I assume no where near the point that he was making a living at it. As I recall, this was somewhere in the 60s. Prior to that, I think that he went to Messick High School in Memphis, as did many of my fraternity brothers at Memphis State, and he sang at some of our parties.

Believe me or not but he is my grandad fr my step dad's side of the family and when I found out he died it stung becuase I didn't know him that well and I wish I did, I knew pasty more but not much and my little sister didn't take this well😔
