Sweet! These little Olights have great brightness levels and runtimes! That is definitely a good solution! Never had a problem with mine turning on in the pocket, but i have had many comment about that.

For the patina on the Fisher Space Pen, did you do anything to make it look that way, or is that just daily use? It looks beautiful.

Hi, really enjoyed the vid, couple questions... How did you get the patina on the S1 and what model of the S1 did you use, as far as I know there is no 'brass' version of the S1, only copper versions... Thanks.

+Eddie O Thanks! This is a limited edition raw brass S1 from Gear Gear. As said, it was a limited run of less than 500 so I'm guessing they're just not available anymore. The patina on the light just developed naturally over use since it is made of raw brass.

It was not the only light that I've carried that burnt the batteries out either in my pocket or inside a pack. So I avoid any flashlights that use a on/off switch that can be easily activated accidentally

+Hansboy no need to be sorry. I only mention to give others thought of this happening. Nothing worse than having a flashlight hoping to be prepared for an event and find your light dead because it got accidentally bumped on in your pack or pocket and ran the battery out lighting the inside of your pack weeks ago. It hurts worse if they were 2 Lithium CR123 batteries ($) I just have criteria now that any light I choose will not be easily turned on by accident.

+Hansboy hello.. just to say that the magnets they use in the olight s series flashlights do not interfere with phones or credit cards.. because it is specifically designed as an EDC flashlight :)

So why so much redundancy? Two knives, a watch & an iPhone (they have all the same functions), a flashlight & the flashlight function on the iPhone. Even the pen is arguably a double as you can take notes on your iPhone.

I feel like I answered pretty clearly that it's just because it's what I wanna do. Sure, it may not be the most practical, but I enjoy it so I carry it. I think the items are cool and useful individually and I enjoy having them all on me. Simple as that. That's as drawn out as I want to make my explanation.

However, it is not fully stain-proof in low-oxygen, high-salinity, or poor air-circulation environments. There are different grades and surface finishes of stainless steel to suit the environment the alloy must endure... It was invented in Sheffield England and has been used to make cutlery since.. I'm not trying to be a dick just share some knowledge..

Casey Lynch makes deep carry custom pockets clips for Spyderco knives. My Manix 2 wears one, and I can't live without it. He may be able to do some custom anodization, but I'm not totally sure on that. I emailed him at thelastleaf1@gmail so I'd try that. It looks to me like your Spyderco clip will work, as long as it's the Delica/Endura/Manix triangular screw pattern which holds it in place.
