When Ed Opened his channel he mentioned something about changing the format of the show with less fiddling and more on the business side etc. From what I can piece together is that the producer and mike brewer took the show to whoever paid and wherever, that came with unique requirements for the show. Ed could see where this was going.

yes, you're right WD was on science channel on sundays and I never missed one episode, now, with that new guy ( I don't even remember his name) he doesn't have a clue how to make an entertained show, and Edd was doing the show so detailed that I feel like fixing my own cars. Well, now my only options are to watch old shows here

Before you adjust valve gap in a old beetle engine, it's recommended remove the entire shaft and clean the oil passages to valve head. It's very often they get clogged.

This looks like my dad's 1959 model, same colour, which I later had as my first car. It was solid as a rock and had indicator 'arms' rather than modern indicators (which I fitted later) and a blown air heater with no fan! It was quite sad to see an old friend being smashed up.

He was just an honest good mechanic who loved what he did it was mike and the rest of the production assholes who wanted to turn the show into a profit. Once they left the UK it wasn’t the same I personally love the first few seasons like this where it’s just Ed and a small shop and the cars were fixed up affordably whereas later seasons they’d give cars a total restoration and it became more of a cookie cutter car show. The original UK episodes are the best
