KK, was born in Doncaster in a mining village called Armthorpe, he was actually turned down by Doncaster rovers as a school boy, here in Doncaster we have a massive toon army fan base I can remember watching KK as a player and manager he was awesome and I believe Eddie Howe will follow KK and Bobby into the Newcastle legend status ⚽️⚽️

It was a fabulous night. Seeing the two leaders on the same stage chat about their lives up here. Eddie told us that his kids now have Geordie accents. Nice to hear Kevin say that he'll always be at the end of a phone for Eddie if he wants a chat. Just a brilliant night.

That was class, thanks very much! I love seeing KK back and having Eddie Howe next to him is deserved. It is really a special time for the toon, with people and lads who understand the essence of what it means to play for the city in the black and white. Kevin Keagan was one of my favourite growing up, he embodies the spirit of Newcastle and he wears his heart on his sleeve. Sir Bobby was much calmer and Eddie is between them, his heart understands but he still has the gentleness and calmness of Sir Bobby. I hope he stays many seasons and wins many trophies with the toon.

Keegan is our genious. He was the one who rescued us from the abiss. Iwas there in 1980 what ever it was when he signed for Newcastle. I got crushed at the Gallowgate end turnstiles in his first game against QPR and he scored. He's my hero. He started a slow rescue that we should all be greatful for.

I remember that crush, I was pulled out of it by a mounted police man by the scruff of my neck, he could see I was in trouble and gave me a ticket for the west stand. hardly saw a thing all match - but I saw the goal and ill never forget that day, from the strawberry being on granstand to the amazing atmosphere in and around the ground after years of 2nd division obscurity.

Not sure what the point of this video is other than you telling us what a fantastic night you've had. Some of us can't attend these shows for numerous reasons and watching footage or listening to people who went describe what happened and what was said is the only access we can get...you should have bought a ticket isn't good content is it? You could have said you won't spoil it as it may be released on YT via Pete or the club. Being condescending by saying you should have went is just a bit arrogant. I like your videos generally and haven't criticised you in the past. I hope you take it in the right way. I have the book preordered on Amazon but would love to have been able to go and I hope they release a video of the show.
@TheMagpieChannelTV Жыл бұрын
Point of the video is to take the viewer along with me, it’s then up to Pete who decided he didn’t want the conversations filmed so the audience felt they got an exclusive night for the money they paid. Also Keegan and Howe want to feel like they can say what they want without pressure of being filmed. Premise of the video is to capture the two meeting for the first time which I did. Really don’t understand how you’ve took it as condescending, it was advice to get a ticket if possible to be able to hear what the two had to say, not a demand. No video will be released of the event as I’ve said again in this comment and in the video no filming was allowed or done by anyone.

I'm going to get some hate for this but, I've never been a Keegan fan. Even as a Newcastle supporter I'm not a fan of his. Yes people are going to bang on about how he almost won the title, emphasis on ALMOST, but did he? He really can't handle the mental pressure of the job. Look at how many times Newcastle were top of the Premiership and totally blew it. They were the Arsenal of the 90's. He's bottled it and walked out of every single management job he's ever had. A fantastic player in his day, but a fantastic manager? I wouldn't say so. That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

It takes integrity to walk away and resign instead of clinging on for a pay day like the absolute scrotes such as Bruce. I think you need to understand where we were when Keegan came as a player and a manager he saved the club twice and took them to 1 step away from the summit of the mountain top. The football he played while on that journey is legendary. Your are indeed entitled to your opinion just as I am entitled to say it's a disgrace of an opinion and you sound like you are trolling. I'm thinking Peter Reid is more your hero you mackem.

Impossible to be a real Nufc fan and not love Keegan mate . Do you know where Newcastle were heading before KK took over ? As a player and manager he galvanized / saved the toon. Where he then took us to with the style of football is the stuff of dreams and with no blank cheque book either .
