I saw Eddie live in the 90’s. It actually hurt. At one point I considered taking a break because I couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard.

Loved what Eddie said about who cares about people's sex life, are you good at what you do, are you a good person. People today want to make their sexuality their personality trait. Make being kind to everyone and good at what you do your personality trait. What a smart conversation.

This made me tear up. I love your podcast and Eddie is PROBABLY one of the most influential celebrities in my life. I have a trans cousin whom I've very close to, and i myself am bisexual. Watching Eddie's stand-up over the years and her stage presence with dressing as a woman and the power she wielded by being herself. I understood that. I felt (feel) so at home in "masculine" garb. But.... Give me a reason to wear a pretty dress and put on make up and do my hair and i LOVE being feminine and glam. She was the first person i saw that MADE me accept myself. I can be ALL of those things. We all have hats and caps and needs and wants and parts of our lives we want to lead given what we can do day by day. Be who you are that day and in that moment and be true to that person in that day, that is what Eddie Izzard has taught this 34 year old. I love her. That's all i really wanted to say.

Wear as many hats as seems fitting, I say. We go around only once, so why waste time trying to fit a single mold? Letting those constraints fall away can be liberating and can make one more interesting. Eddie Izzard is a brilliant entertainer, funny, and interesting. I've been a fan since *Dressed To Kill.* I, as many others, had never seen anything quite like that show. And what's this about Third Rock?

I have been such an enormous fan of Eddie Izzard s from her stand up first then her other work! I made so many people watch her stand ups over the years and we all were made smarter for it! We learned some bits of other languages and history here and there! I was amazed at how much she accomplished throughout her life;but her book changed me. Once I started to learn about her charitable works and thoughts on how we can help the world I fell even more in love with her humanity! I am in awe of her! We should all aspire to be able to make such a difference..to do selflessly the way she has is is beyond beautiful LIVE AND LET LIVE Inspirational

Was delighted to see Eddie on your podcast. First saw Dressed To Kill I think the year it came out in 1999. Somewhere between 1999-2001. I remember being around 13-15 years old, and Pardon Me off of the Make Yourself album by Incubus was being played on the radio as a new song, and that came out in 1999. I instantly became an fan of Eddie. The Englebert Humperdink bit influenced me greatly in coming up with ridiculous names for characters in stories, and music that stays with me to this day. That whole special is amazing. Always a pleasure seeing Eddie, and this podcast is also becoming a real pleasure.

Oh, you're misinformed; she's genderfluid. It's a bit of a complicated concept, but not impossible to get your head around if you try. Her pronouns are she/her. That's really the easiest part, it's just grammar and she's made it real easy for you by saying it publicly. Pronouns are social tools, determined by identity, identity is determined by the brain, Eddie is the most reliable source on what's in that brain, Eddie says her pronouns are she/her, ergo those are the pronouns by which she is to be referred socially. Her, not him; don't shoot the messenger.
