I like how this seems to be a little more of Russ than the character that is Satchel.

Eddie did in fact use pedals like the Boss GE 10 EQ and the MXR 6 band EQ to shape and boost his signal.

Back when he was known as Russ Parrish, playing guitar for Halford in Fight, he did a stage dive onto me in NYC at Limelight & invited me backstage to meet everyone w/ my friend. He was a cool dude. Even met him when he was in the Atomic Punks, in San Diego.

I'm guilty of stepping away from Floyd's recently. I still have a couple of guitars with them but rarely grab them. The guitars I've built either have traditional Fender style bridges or Wilkinson WVS50IIK's.

Ha he says you can't get close to the original sound then all of a sudden there's an ad for devices that do just that. lol

Floyd Rose fan here: Kahlers always feel dead to me, like they disconnected me from the guitar, they felt spongy and just.. not my thing.

You think that's bad? Peter Frampton almost blew my head up! A friend of mine loaned me his Heil Talk Box. When I got home, I realized that I didn't have a guitar at home, and I REALLY wanted to play with the Talk Box. So, I got the bright idea to plug in an Arp Odyssey, and put on my headphones. I put the hose in my mouth, hit a note that was probably around 100 hrz... And suddenly the room looked like a fast forward video recording of an Earthquake!!!
