Bro, i'm brazilian and i practiced Capoeira for a long time, and, DAMN! what a great job. I just don't like his ginga a little, it seems a bit weird, i think if they added more hands movement ( which is a trick to play with the attention of the opponent) it would be more "smooth". But, besides that, is a beatiful job ( sorry for my horrible english).

I’m predicting there are going to be crazy stance switchers now for Eddy since Negativa seems to duck higher, but can easy side move into handstand on both sides. I’m looking forward to be annoyed by players dancing around me, then learning how to counter them. Will definitely be a spectacle worth keeping in favourites in future.

3:40 something every fighting game should learn from SF6 is to have the option in practice mode to put certain abilities to always be on like Claudio's starburst or Bryan's snake eyes. In SF6 you can change these things in practice to make your life way easier like Manon's medals and Jamie's drink lvl

His power up is not like Bryan's, Asuka's, or Claudio's. Theirs gets used up after one unique attack. Eddy KEEPS his until the round ends which applies to all other power ups as well if they don't use it. So everyone playing characters with power ups will be asking: "how come DLC character get to keep his power up throughout the round, but mine doesn't?"

I mean, I think their hate is pretty justified with how the fighting game genre is shifting. Eddie was originally base roster, so it was painful for fans to not see him in the initial roster. The game is already 80 dollars and putting him as paid DLC is probably more salt to the wound.

He might be pretty good for a while until the possibility that they find he’s broken and nerf him beyond belief as they did with Fahkumram and Leroy. Another point I’d like to use is Dragunov. He’s base roster and he’s one of the top 5 characters that is popular to use due to how busted he is. Eddie could’ve very well been base roster and developed in a way to be better than in T7.

This... removing the skill ceiling limits the character growth and makes Eddy a potentially lower tier in higher caliber play, as you have less tools to work with. Murray says in this video, they altered Eddys 3tide4 and 4tide3 kick moves to make him easier for beginners, yet these tide kick moves have been around since Tekken 3!!! and since then, no one had an issue learning these input regardless of age... It would be the same as replacing Kaz's electric's with easier inputs or Bryans taunt jet uppers, they should exist once you learn the cores fundamentals of the character, then you graduate to those advanced moves and you are rewarded for trying.

Murray was talking about Eddys 3tide4 and 4tide3 kicks, they require a thumb roll which requires practice, however "practice" to Murray is "difficult" and he wants to sell DLC's, so Eddie skill cap will now be reduced in return.
