I'm building a baby big block (a 69 396). I just got it back from the machine shop. I'm going with the Edelbrock top end as well. The only thing bad about your video is that I had to pause it a lot in order to scribble down all of the tips and advice. You'll be on the TV in my garage this coming week. Great video!

The carburetor is a Holly HP 750 double pumper

The only complaint I have on the kit is the lifters. I got a bunch of lifters in the kit that had the link bar on backwards and they scored the cam. Good luck on your project. (the engine runs great).

I'm looking at fender wall headers. On the other hand I do not want to move up to far down in ET as that will require more certifications at the drag strip. Thanks for the comment
