right. there's a few that hit the first time though. The poppier ones. They drag you in and I feel the need to listen to the whole album for some reason (maybe the videos or cover art?) . I don't even feel the need to listen to every album of pink floyd or the velvet underground anymore, or even some of the best rap albums of all time. A tribe called quest is exempt and paul's botique. Very few artists make me sit down and listen to the album chronilogically every day. When this came out I listened in order at least once a day.

I gave up music a while ago because of a lot of things that happened in college at the time and slowly started listening to music less and less. EDEN is the artist for me that just sticks. Though I don’t listen to music as much, when I do, it’s eden. He was my inspiration for making music, singing playing guitar and joining college to study music in the first place. Maybe one day i’ll pick up making music again, but when that feeling has past it’s hard to say. I wish I never gave it up but at this point I would have to learn from the start again as I’ve left it so long. Im glad I’m alive in a generation where music is fire because of this guy.

it is never too late in life to learn something you love. If you regret giving it up, you can reignite your passion for music with some effort/action. 1: the album is quite varied i think 2: this is something no one has really asked me about before actually. its something that used to play heavily on my mind; emigrant culture of the nation, all the while growing up in an immigrant family. from end credits and before, its still something even now i havent fully reconciled. i dont know my place in ireland. have always felt like an outsider to a degree, both personally and musically. i feel more at home in multicultural exchanges. whether thats online, or living in places like new york or london.

QUESTION FOR EDEN: I know in your old songs such as “and”, “take care”, “forever//over”, etc, you express feelings of disconnection between you and your loved ones and/or the woman you want a relationship with. It felt like, in those songs, you were in a constant battle with yourself, trying to find time for the thing you wanted more. I don't know how this always happens. You always seem to release music right when I'm going through a really tough time. I just put my dog down- my best friend, my reason for living. I never thought an artist would pop up randomly in my life and change everything I thought I liked about Music. About 2 years ago "Wake Up" played in a playlist I was listening to and as soon as I heard it I looked you up and the rest is history. I've listened to every single one of your songs dozens of times... They all hit different and I play certain ones when I'm in different moods. I've never experienced an artist that can match any given mood with a song like you have. This album is going to be amazing and I just want to thank you for working hard doing what you love (and killing it btw) all while releasing amazing song after amazing song, you've truly blessed all of us :)
