Yep. Menopause started creating cul-de-sacs at my temples. Protein and ayurveda brought my edges back. My hair is thick, mostly white and waist length for the very first time. At 61. I wish I could attach a photo.

I flippin love you! Thank you so much! I'm 47 yo, but young at heart, going through perimenopause. I've gone from a joyful, lighthearted, comical soul, to an emotional rollercoaster covered in electric blankets and clip on fans. 😂 The change is not bad it's just scary as hell because it's unlike anything I've ever experienced and nobody - including family - wants to talk about. Or they say they've forgotten how it went. Even doctors brush us off and kind of leave us to figure it out on our own. This is my 3rd video of yours, tonight and I've learned so much. My hair is thinning in the crown and I'm literally losing my mind about it! It's been gradual since I turned 40. I just thought it was due to stress. I've taken everyones advice, been to doctors, been to stylists, taken vitamins, reduced stress, cut it off and loc'ed it back to no avail. I used to have tons of hair, I'm a stylist by trade, and I have 2 teen daughters with loads of thick, long, hair! I have small locs and embarrassingly, I keep my hair wrapped with a scarf trying to physically keep the hair on my head. I'd love to cut it short, again because I enjoyed being able to get my hair wet in the shower more often, I enjoy swimming, and I just want to be free from worrying about what other people will think. I cry about my hair, hell I just cry for no reason nowadays but I can laugh about it, as well. My emotions are like Forest Gump's box of chocolate at this point. 😂The only unfunny thing about this change of life is my hair loss. My heart goes out to all who might be going through this. It's tough. I did lose hair after one of my kids were born and you're right, it went from luscious to no edges and, yes I freaked out and yup, it grew back eventually. My husband and children are very supportive and reassuring when I get sad about my hair but they don't want me to cut it, again. However, after watching your wash and go techniques, I'll be buying your products and freeing myself of these head scarves and stress. I've been told it will grow back by others but there is something about your matter of fact, confident tone, those who speak to your experience in the comments, and your experience having seen other women go through this that makes me believe what you say. Thank you for saying what others won't. It happens, so just roll with a style that fits the situation. God bless and keep you and thanks, again. ❤🥲

I have hypothyroidism (Thyroid removed) AND going through perimenapause. I also had a lot stress, and did a lot of shadow work to heal inner child trauma... All of those things contributed to thinning of my hair and edges gone. I kept my hair in twists, with a silk bonnet, and African scarf for years (occasionally wearing a wig). What I started doing for regrowth is more 72 hour monthly fasts for autophagy and to create more white stem cells which helps with detoxing and building up your immune system, taking high end multivitamins, incorporating cold pressed pumpkin seed oil capsules, drinking Nettle /Matcha tea (all natural DHT blockers), and rubbing hexane-free organic castor oil (in a dark glass), in my hair 2-3 times a week...All have contributed to my new hair growth. It's not a fast process, but it's steady at least. I literally talk "baby talk" to my new baby hairs coming in to let them know how happy I am to see them😂💙.

You be having me dying!! 😂😂😂, but you educate. You have to. It was like starting from scratch when we hit these American shores and forgot our ways. Your work shows that your love for them women in your family and beyond. My edges are from premenopause. I still wear my Grace Jones/Cameo flat top. I gotta get some of your products for more moisture.

I wear my hair naturally now and it’s longer than ever, but whenever I damaged my hair in the past with relaxers or keratin, the stylist would say when your hair stops breaking off get a good trim and condition, condition, condition. Just like he said

Thank you. I’m recently married but we don’t plan on having children for another year or so. But this has been my biggest concern. 😅especially because my hair is already fine and low density 🫠

Could it be my bonnet thinning my edges 🤔. I hate when it's on my 4head don't want it to cause bumps. So I always push it back 😮

The EEG adhesive that smells like acetone took my edges out literally where the stickers were. I had to wear it for 4 days at home. I took the strength of a mule to get the residue out slowly bt surely. I never experienced this before & I have a head full of thick hair all over. It scares Me bc the spot feels so bald like a freshly shaved spot with no hair follicles if that makes any sense.
