Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” injects dark humor into the serious issue of prescription drug addiction for its seventh and final season. Edie Falco plays Jackie Peyton, a lying, cheating, pill-popping ER nurse whose addiction is finally exposed. Falco joins “CBS This Morning” for a preview of Sunday’s episode and to discuss the ending of the show.

I think Edie Falco might be my favourite female actor. Everything she’s in, she elevates it. Endlessly charming. From Oz, all through Horace and Pete, she’s phenomenal and brings such a layer of naturalism where you forget she’s acting. The big row in the Whitecaps episode of Sopranos is a master class of two actors who know exactly how to carry out this horrible, painful, hate filled scene. Underrated and drop dead gorgeous too.

She was so good in Nurse Jackie. It was upsetting to see that she was actually fine getting on with her life untill people got involved, putting her on pressure and causing her to make mistakes. It's a typical story in someone who has an addiction problem. You can't just constantly call someone a "drug addict", it doesn't help and it's judgemental.

I work inpatient pharmacy at a hospital and this show is so easy to watch over and over Throughout the years because lt really does well in showing hospital/healthcare sense of humors, and the inherent dark sides of these types of health roles. I’m glad this show was made before everything was totally run by PDMPs ( And i suppose Pyxis & Omnicell in hospitals) nationwide because Almost 2 seasons at the beginning couldn’t exist with the character being a drug diverting nurse lol

She's way more beautiful in real life than as her characters somehow.. especially for her age she does look way younger but she's gotta be 50. Soprano was 20 years ago oz was at least 20 years old when it ended. And she had to be in her 30s. So gotta be 50 but only looks 40 cause looks mature but looks like An amazing 40.

I loved this show and Jacky she was a partying worker that performed better high and worked beautiful under pressure. She gave her all to anyone with out judgment helped so many and saved many lives...miss this series I wish there would have been a season 8 before she died off 😊💜

I love Edie Falco and Nurse Jackie! I really wish they'd continue the series. What happens to Jackie after she falls on the floor at the end of season 7? 1. Nothing, she shakes it off; or 2. More diversion; or 3. Loses her license and maybe her life? I just dont know what would logically follow -- probably #3 irl.

Loved nurse Jackie character this gave me a total new knowledge about what drug addicts do and until they are exposed or overdose no one will imagine they were hooked. Sadness for the daughters and husband that suffer the most this people go great lengths to hide the addiction or cover behind someone else. In real life I have met man doing this to their families.
