This is virtually the only channel that does audio speaker reviews where they actually demonstrate what they speakers actually sound like when used! I must have Googled comparisons between the Edifier 1280BT I was initially poised to buy and other speakers like the Audioengine A5+, some JBL's and Klipsch speakers....but all I got were people just TALKING about the speakers and how good they were without any actual demonstration of the speakers in use! At that point, it is less a review and more of a talking head commentary...and that does NOTHING towards telling me what I want to know. What they bloody well sound like!!! In the end, I got an incredible deal on the Audioengine speakers that was too good to pass up...almost $150 less than retail for a new set! :)

twice the size is not an apple to apple comparison. The T100 would only be a good choice when space is premium. The footprint of the Edifier puts it in a competitive class that the T100 is not. It is a weight class issue....the Edifiers seem like a great value if you can give up space.

Creative sound more balanced. The Edifier sound more "trebly" more analytical on high but that distorts the balance and sound too "thin"

Edi's win clearly... The T100's lack in every Field and while they have slightly stronger mids, they suffer from muddy widening, making them sound like some sort of Bose...fill the room, but at a cost. meh.

No crossover though. That is why they punch. Transmition line inside (like the boss and i loud micro). The 1280T are terrible in the non existent mids and the resonances here and there hurt my ears. Bliagh. By the way DSP all the way for the 1280t...I wonder if you'll ever hear something the way it should be. But you might like it. Or not.

would like a t100 vs eris 3.5s since t100s got more wattage 80 40 each speaker eris only 25W per speaker but got bigger woofers and tweeters. so eris bigger woofer tweeters less watts t100 more watt less tweeter and woofer.

ok i have 2 subwoofers with a fairly beefy custom system and i was like what the point with this, but..... the edifiers clips sounded more full and the creatives a bit more "bright" i guess or even shallow (not necessarily bad which is why i think bright is applicable) . Thats the only difference to me.

Awesome demonstration. Funnily enough I'm listening to this through my T100s which I've had for over a year now and thoroughly enjoyed. But now I'm currently looking to upgrade to Edifier but with so many options I'm stuck on what to choose. I need it for gaming, movies, music and I'd need Bluetooth connectivity. Any recommendations?

Con la t100 te das una idea de la t60, son lo mismo, solo que la creative t100 no tiene las funciones de sound blaster pero se defiende con sus opciones de ecualizador

the eris got bigger tweeters and woofers (both the 3.5s and 4.5s) but less wattage than the t100s so guess quality less volume eris 3.5s and more volume less quality t100?

its not just the bass they're lacking... metalhead shows it quite clearly...return to the wild aswell, even retro wave...stage, mids, highs, clarity, crispiness... the 1280's win them all, especially as the mids are clr and not so artifically widend and muddied, like ...Bose...
