Hi Jewel, Actually it wasn't too bad, the chair folded back to almost a bed so it was quite comfortable. Absolutely stunning scenery, what we show is just a fraction of what we saw, we were sometimes a little slow with the camera. :) Whether you go in economy or luxury it is a journey that needs to be taken. :) Thank you for your comment Jewel!

Cause they own the tracks just like here in the states. I know it's frustrating, cause it happens to me all the time. Canadian national and Canadian pacific own those tracks and they lease them to VIA and rocky mountaineer

There is no sleeping cabins for economy class, as you have sleep on your seat 💺 however, they have sleeper cabin for 1, 2 or up to 4 persons which has big seats which turns to bed and have bathroom in the cabin. You can see details on VIA Rail website.

@@FrequenttravellerAustralia Yes , if you could cross country Canada like we did. By the way another train Rocky Mountainere start from Banff to Vancouver breath taking railway of Rocky mountain. I think when Covid-19 over I would like to from Jasper to Prince Rupert ( Northwest passage). Stay safe my friend.
